Lacey POV
I munched on a slice of cheese pizza in thought. Everything was going to be different now since Blake was out of the picture.I was about to say something when someone approached our table. "I knew it!" Blake yelled. Miranda reeled back slightly. "What the h...what's up honey?" Miranda asked nicely.
"Let's step outside, shall we?" Miranda asked. "I'm coming too." I growled before Miranda could protest. I walked over to our waiter. "We're having a family meeting. Could we just step outside for a second?""Sure! We're pretty slow right now."
We all walked outside quickly and into the alley behind the restaurant. "Okay. Speak." Miranda commanded.
"You were cheating on me!" He yelled, shoving a picture into her face. I looked closer and realized it was a picture from the ice cream shop. Miranda started to laugh uncontrollably.
"You're an idiot. He was a fan and I offered to buy him and his daughter ice cream." She said calmly. Blake still looked furious. "It's true. I was there." I said.
"You stay out of this! You're not even apart of this family!" He yelled in my face. I reeled back. "Well one thing's for sure, I don't want to be apart of any family you're in". Blake reeled his hand back and I flinched. Instead of slapping me, he took me by my shoulders and shook me.
Miranda punched Blake in the mouth and he dropped me. "Alright. Let's handle this like adults." Miranda snapped. "Let's go inside, have a nice family dinner and then go talk about it somewhere else."
Blake didn't say anything as we walked inside. We sat down and Blake grabbed a piece of pizza, refusing to look at Miranda. We finished and Blake paid for the meal, and Miranda tipped the waiter.
We walked outside and to Miranda's truck. All hell broke loose.
