Carrie POV
I watched Mike and Lacey leave before I turned to look toward the bathroom.

The man finally emerged and I felt something in my gut that I knew this man. He wasn't an ex....or a fan...but I knew that I knew him from somewhere!

I finally gathered the courage to walk over to him. "Hey! I really like your hat." I grinned. He looked at me through his glasses and I gasped. It was just who I feared it to be! Before I could do anything, he shoved me into the bar!

A glass shattered behind me and I winced as I felt it cut my arm. The woman quickly ran after him and I frowned. The barista walked over to me quickly, holding a towel.

"Hey! Are you okay?" She asked me, gently brushing the glass away from me. "Yeah. Just gonna be really sore in the morning, I'm afraid." I sighed. The woman gently wrapped the towel around my arm.

"You might need stitches, doll." She said gently. I sighed. That's the last thing I needed. "I'm sure it'll be fine. Do you have a first aid kit?" I asked. "Sure do. Just a second." She said, grabbing a stool from behind the counter. She reached above the shelves in the bar and brought down a dusty first aid kit.

She bandaged me up and I left her some money for the glass. "Sorry about that.""he should be the one apologizing, not you, doll." She said gently. "Good luck tracking him down." She grinned. "Thanks. I'll need it."

I walked out of the restaurant and down the street. I looked around and decided to go right. I walked a few blocks before I heard footsteps behind me. I turned quickly, my fist clinched.

I swung first and he swung second. He hit me in the face and pinned me against the brick. I grinned at him. "Not so smart coming back to the scene of the crime." I snapped, trying to get out of his grip.

"Just don't tell anyone. Okay? I'm sorry I hurt you. It's not what it looks like." He said quickly. "What is it then, Blake?" I snarled, throwing his hands off of me.

He reeled back. "Give me one good reason I shouldn't call up your wife, who's in the hospital, alone. Because she thinks you're back filming?" I growled.

He looked really small, even behind his thick glasses. "I...I." He stuttered. "My god! Your eye." He said, ashamedly. "Yeah. You caused that." I snapped, this was a side of me not many people, even my husband, have seen. The angry side.

"Why would she believe you?" He asked me slowly. "I'm sorry? Come again?" I snapped, turning back toward him. "Look. Don't tell her. She's already in the hospital. Please don't tell her or Lacey." He pleaded. I rolled my eyes before wincing.

"I won't tell her only because she's already got enough on her mind. Not because of you. Now. Leave. My. Sight." I snarled, pushing him in the chest before walking past him.

I picked up my phone and kept walking. I didn't even care if he saw. I only let my guard down when I heard Mike's voice.
