Jenn suddenly slumped in her seat. She was suffering from blood loss.

"Masky step on it!" I called. Ben sat up with a start. He looked around and realized something was wrong.

"What's going on?" He asked. Ben glanced at Masky, then at me, then at Jenn. Her head was in my lap, my hand on her side to slow the bleeding. The only signs of life were her breathing and soft, inaudible whispers.

"Are we there yet?" I asked impatiently. Time was running out, " Jane, what did you do?"

"I'm going as fast as I can!" Masky swerved around a couple trees. Ben slid off the seat.

"Can you drive a little better?" Ben asked. Masky jerked the car to a stop and all of us shot forward.

"We're here." Masky said. We opened the doors and jumped out. Jenn's eyes shot open.

"Whoa, you can put me down now!" She said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"I'm fine." Jenn assured. I shrugged and set her down. She took a step and stumbled, "Okay maybe I need some help."

I grabbed her hand and helped her up. She leaned against me as we walked toward the mansion. Slender came out and I don't think he was happy with us disappearing in the morning and then coming back in the afternoon without telling him. But hey, it wasn't our fault. Happy Mask Man just had to laugh at that particular moment and Ben charged out of the house. Jenn and I were just concerned and followed him. It sure was hard explaining THAT to Slender. Especially since Jenn was getting patched up. Why does he think it's always my fault? ( Okay maybe most of the time it IS my fault.)

Jenn came back in the room arguing with Masky.

"Crook you must rest!" Masky pleaded.

"I'm FINE, Masky just get me some Advil and I'll be good as new!" She placed her hands on her hips.

"No! Advil will not help anything!" Masky was really trying to get her to rest.

"Yes it will."

"No it wont!"

"It will Masky, it will." I cut in.

"Hey where's Ben?" Jenn asked. Ben was upstairs changing into some dry clothes.

"Upstairs." I answered.

She nodded and continued to argue with Masky. I just sat down on the window sill and stared off into space. The entire thing was just confusing. Jane would normally just keep her distance, not come looking for or send evil demon minions after me. Also, Liu was alive. How did he survive? Why is he with Jane? Well, I actually kinda knew why he was with her, to stop me. It sure wasn't comforting knowing your brother is out there trying to kill you. There was a knock at the door. Slender answered it. There was an old woman, eyes set deep in a mass of wrinkles. She look directly at me. I pretended to look off into space again. Then the woman looked at Jenn and her eyes sparkled.

"Your the one I'm looking for." The woman pointed at Jenn, "Come over here child." Jenn looked at this person like she was crazy, but then took tentative steps forward. The woman took her hands. Jenn held her breath.

"Wh-who are you?" Jenn stammered.

"That's not importent right now child. You are the one to free us." The woman took out a dagger. She put it in Jenn's hands and curled her fingers over the handle, "This dagger is destined to go through her heart. And keep an eye on that boy," She waved a hand at me, " Or you'll lose him forever." Jenn's eyes were wide and filled with confusion. I honestly had no idea what this person was talking about, "Take care child." With that the old woman left.

"What the fudge was that?" Ben asked from the doorway.

"I have absolutley no idea." I looked over at Jenn. She was staring at the dagger in her hands. There were words etched on the blade. The stone will heal. Keep the boy safe.

"What does this mean?" Jenn stole a sideways glance at me. I shrugged. For a minute we all just stood there, lost in thought I guess. Finaly Slender broke the silence.

"Jeff."

"Yeah?"

"Why don't you and Crook pick out a room for her?"

"Sound's fun." Jenn said this without looking up from the dagger.

Jenn and I walked up the stairs to the second floor. I showed her all the empty rooms. Ben decided to tag along. He told her which room was his, which one was mine, which one was Masky's. She thought hard about a room. But soon she chose the one that was next to mine.

"What now?" Ben asked.

"Well I doubt Slender's gonna let us leave. So I guess just hang around?" I leaned back on the windowsill of Jenn's room. So that's what we did for the next week or so. It felt like forever though. Jenn's wound heald alarmingly fast. Well, alarming to Masky. He's such a worrywart. Once I told him and I got punched in the nose.

On the Thursday of the seconed week, Slender called me, Jenn, Masky, and Ben down to the living room. I knew he'd made some big, importent decison.

"Because of our recent encounters with Jane, I have decided to have you four infiltrate a school the next town over." He said.

"What school?" Ben asked.

"Breckenridge School For Juvinile Delinquent's" When Slender said this, Jenn face went paler, "What's wrong?"

"Brekenridge........is the school where I.........where I became me."
