I stood outside my old home. The paint was peeling and the window that was to my room was broken. All of us were silent.

"Wow." Ben's eyes were huge, as they were most of the time, "This place is huge!" It really was big.

" Well, welcome to The Daneils estate!" I held my breath as I pushed the door open. It was just like I remembered it. Almost like I had been gone for two minutes, not two years. But take into account the thick layer of dust that coated just about everything, "We're going to need a major dusting spree if we want this place to look livable."

"So this is your house. Nice place." Jeff blew the dust off of the mantle in the living room. I shrugged my shoulders as I pressed onward. There was the dining room, the pool room (everyone was surprised at that. Even I was. I forgot we had a pool.), a fitness room, and my parents old room.

The stairs were, strangely, a different story than the rest of the house. There was no dust, dirt, or random cluttered objects. It was the only spot in the entire place that was remotely clean. I couldn't help but notice these footprints that went through the dust and up the stairs. They were weird because a) there were no footprints indicating that the person came back b) there were TWO pairs of footprints both going in the SAME direction and c) no one had gone ahead of me. We were all there and accounted for. Masky seemed a little uneasy when I pointed them out. But I shrugged it off and walked up the stairs. Each one creaked and moaned as I set my foot upon it.

"These stairs were the reason the window to my room is blown out, they would creak when someone was going up or down. So I snuck out my window." I tried to start a conversation to lift the eeriness of the house.

"My mom never would've let me go anywhere after 7:00 at night." Jeff laughed as he glanced at the grandfather clock. It hadn't worked for years and I doubted it would randomly start working again. Masky tried flipping on a light switch but there was no power.

"We need to get the power company out here to re install the power." He said grimly. Masky'd been on edge the entire time we'd been in there. I shrugged as I pulled out the camera that Slender had given me. We each had a hand-held and one of those that you could strap to your chest. I hit the power button and the screen lit up the dark hallway. Video mode, play, night vision mode.

"Well, here we are. In the second floor hallway. At my house. Seems nice, so far." I swung the camera around.

"Where's your room?" Ben asked. I heard a slight creak coming from the second flight of stairs just ahead.

"Hold on. Jeff, give me the flashlight." Masky shone the flashlight at the stairs. Nothing. Ben clung to me, again.

"My room two doors down to the left." I whispered. Ben took off to find it. I watched on the camera screen so I could keep tabs on him. He froze when he looked in there.

"Crook. Is there supposed to be......" Ben trailed off. Masky, Jeff, and I rushed down the hallway. Masky shone the flashlight in. I rely on the footage for the next few moments, or Masky, or... you know what I'll just tell you what I gathered. Masky was tackled to the ground by someone.

"TOBY GET OFF ME!!" Masky threw the person off him. Jeff laughed hysterically. The person that tackled Masky had brown messy hair, orange tinted goggles, and a mask that made him look like he was smiling. He also twitched a lot.

"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" He took off the goggles and mask. His skin was grayish and his eyes were blue.

"Was that really necessary?" Ben looked like he was about to burst out laughing but one look from Masky banished one giggle.

"Maybe. Who's the chick?" He looked at me. I, for one, don't like being called a 'chick' whatever that meant.

"Crook. Who are you?" I answered.

"Name's Toby but most people call me Ticci Toby so you can call me whatever ya like." Toby shrugged.

"What are you doing here?" Masky hissed. I raised a eyebrow at him, he avoided my stare.

"Slendy decided to send me along! Ain't that great!?!?" This boy was just full of energy.

"This is going to be a nightmare." Masky said, "Did Slender decide to send anyone else with you?"

"Yeah, Hoodie's in the garage fixing the electricty. It went out a few minutes ago." Toby stood up and put back on the goggles, " You guys should've seen the look on Ben's face! Priceless!"

"Wow so this is your room?" Jeff was leaning on my bunk bed. Yes I was thirteen and still had a bunk bed, but they're cool! I mean it's a bed, WITH A LADDER! There was this desk thing connected to it with a bunch of paper and drawing stuff, " Can I get the bottem bunk?"

"No my room. Boys get the other rooms." I stood in the doorway, " It's been a loooong time since I've been in here. Hey who wants to go out with me and get cleaning supplies!?"

"Me!" Ben practically jumped up and down with his hand raised.

"Sure." Jeff shrugged.

"Okay then. Toby, Masky hold down the fort but stay out of my room. That will be a rule from now on." I clapped my hands together and signaled for Ben and Jeff to follow. Toby took out a walkie-talkie and radioed down to who I guess was Hoodie.

"Hey Crook, Jeff, and Ben are going to get some cleaning stuff." He exited the room and after a few minutes came back in, "The power circuit thingy is waaaaay outdated so we need an electrician to come look at it."

" But they can't come with us as, well, us!" Masky cried.

"I have just the thing for that." I smiled my I-have-an-idea-that-your-not-gonna-like smile. I walked towards my parent's room. Reaching into a side table I pulled out a bunch of bracelets, some for guys but most for girls, "These are things that can change your appearance without you doing anything at all. All you have to do is put it on. Sure there are some minor kinks but I can sort 'em out."

"I have absolutely no idea what you just said." Ben said.

"Of course you don't." I rolled my eyes and strolled put the door with Jeff and Ben behind me.
