Just Get Me What I Need.

Jenn handed Ben and I the sporty looking magical thingies. At first I eyed it suspiciously but Jenn gave me a look and I put it on. I felt the effects instantly.

"Woah, I'm dizzy." I raised my arm to clutch at my head but stopped halfway. It was tan, not white! And the hair hanging down past my shoulders was brown, "I-i'm me!"

"Not completely. There's always a part of you that shows through. The problem is which part." Jenn shrugged, then put hers on. Her hair became longer, her skin tanner, her eyes gray, and the cut on the side of her face vanished, "See? I had long blonde hair not long black hair." Ben took a breath and put his on.

His hair and skin stayed the same the only thing that changed were his eyes. They became a brighter blue. I knew what they were covering up even if Jenn didn't. Jenn clapped her hands together.

"Well let's go get our cleaning stuff!" She chirped. Luckily there was a hardware store across the street. The store clerk jumped when he saw Jenn.

"Are my eyes deceiving me? Jenny? Is that you?" He was a young looking guy, with brown hair arranged Justin Bieber style, the guy also had big glasses. He kinda reminded me of Toby.

"Hi Emmet." Jenn waved, "How are things?"

"Pretty good I guess. I mean after two years you show up again! Everyone thought you were dead! And your hair is black!" Emmet's eyes were as wide as saucers. Yet there was something about this guy I didn't like, "So anything in particular you guys looking for?"

"Bleach, dusters, bathroom and kitchen cleaners, and febreeze." Ben said in the electronic repair aisle.

"What do you need those for?" Emmet eyed me with a look of untrustworthiness. I know, weird word.

"Emmet, seriously where do you get your ideas?" Jenn leaned on the counter.

"Sorry. Who are your freinds? They're not the usual lot." He leaned on the counter, leaning in close to her. To be honest I felt a little unconfertable.

"The short one's Ben and the cute one's Jeff." She smiled.

"She just called me cute? Was that supposed to be a complement or what?" I thought. Emmet winked at me with a knowing look on his face.

"So Jenny, how'd ya meet them?" He pressed. Jenn rolled her eyes.

"Just get me what I need."

A few minutes later we were outta there. When I opened the door we all took off the bracelets. Dust spurted up all around us. The cause? Toby was running around trying to eat the dust. Masky and Hoodie were trying to stop him. We stood there taking it all in. Jenn began laughing first. Then Ben and I followed suit. Masky shot us a look but we ignored it. I think the fact that he was running around trying to get Toby (of all people) to stop eating dust got to him, he started laughing too. Pretty soon everybody was just laughing their brains out. By the time we had all calmed down the dust had settled again.

"You guys got the cleaning thingies?" Toby jumped around. Somebody liked cleaning. .

"Yeah we got them." Ben tugged on the plastic bag hanging from Jenn's arm.

"We also scored a few Kit Kats. Apparently the clerk owes Crook a couple favors." I elbowed her as I said this.

"It's what happens when you get bored around here. I have a few things over his head that could cost him his job." Jenn grinned, "And he does love his job."

"How old is he?" Ben asked.

"Let's see. Fourteen plus two years minus about six months...... about fifteen and a half." Jenn leaned against the coutch with her elbow, "Oh god I would be fifteen by now wouldn't I? That's going to be interesting."

"You remember the cover story right?" Masky asked with a worried tone.

"Yeah I went to stay with a relative out of town and that's where I met you guys. We got in trouble with the cops so we came here. And now I'm back at that poor excuse of a school I went to." Jenn smirked at this comment, " Yeah this is going to suck."

"Why? And how?" Ben asked.

"Cause if your going to Breckenridge, our gonna need to know some rules."
