Crook watched as her five year old daughter ran around the yard. Samantha Jennifer Monroe was her name. She had beautiful black hair and deep red eyes. One of her eyes had to be covered by an eyepatch. There was something about Sam that stayed between Crook and Jeff.

Sam had an operator symbol on her left eye.

They didn't know how or why it had gotten there. They'd just said Sam had been born without her left eye. And everyone believed them.

"Hey Jenn, how's Sam?" Jeff came behind her. They shared a quick kiss. Sam ran up to Jeff and threw her arms around his leg.

"Daddy!!!" She grinned the same lopsided grin that Crook had.

"Hi honey. Are you ready to go meet your new cousin?" Jeff bent down, lifted Sam in the air, and kissed the top of her head.

"Yeah!"

A few days ago Masky had found a four year old boy in the woods. The boy had been abandoned by his parents because of an ability he had. He could teleport like Slenderman. Sam ran into the mansion with Crook and Jeff behind her. Sam ran to a small group of kids.

"Sam!" Cassie (Hoodie's Daughter) hugged her tightly. Cassie had long black hair and bright purple eyes. Next to her were Toby's twins. Jacob and Mary. Both had brown hair, green eyes, and freckled faces. Another boy came running from upstairs and joined the group. He had blonde hair, blue eyes, and glasses. This was Tommy, Ben's son. Tommy was not surprisingly the shortest of the group. Jacob was the tallest.

"We're finaly going to meet him!" Mary's arm twitched, a trait she'd inherited from her dad. Jacob couldn't feel pain. He had no idea what pain even was.

"Do you know his name?" Tommy asked excitedly.

"Diego I think." Sam said after a moment of silence.

A few minutes later Masky and a small boy came in. He had brown hair and soft blue eyes. He stayed close to Masky looking around at everyone. The boy looked up at his 'father'.

"Estas personas son de la familia?" He spoke spanish? Sam felt a thrill of excitement go down her spine. Masky had been teaching the other kids spanish.

"Sí, la familia." Masky nudged the boy toward the kids. Sam came forward and offered a hand.

"Es un placer conocerte. Mi nombre es Sam." She smiled at the boys surprise.

"Mi nombre es Diego. Es un placer conocerte también." Diego hesitantly put his hand in Sam's. She gently walked him over to the other kids. For the next half an hour they talked in spanish. Every kid was excited.

They had a new friend.

9 years later.

14 year old Sam was watching the sun set on the roof. Diego sat next to her. He was now fluent in English, but that didn't stop him and Sam from having whole conversations in spanish. On top of that, all of the kids could speak Latin, Chinese, and Italian. Sam didn't understand why they had to learn all of these languages but if Mom wanted her to then Sam would do it. Crook was a detective in the homicide unit of the police. It must be strange to work with the people your trying to hide from. Dad had to explain that it was like hiding in plain sight.

"Do you have the photo album?" Diego asked.

"Yeah. I've leafed through it a couple times." Sam smiled, "Man your dad was cute when he was our age." She brought out a big book. She opened it to the first page of pictures. The first one was a picture of the mansion. The second through fifth were group shots.

"Oh my god he was. Your mom was too. Your dad too!" Diego pointed at the two in the middle.

"Yeah. I know there's a picture of their wedding here somewhere...." Sam flicked through until she found it. It was Crook and Jeff giving their vows.

"Wow, your mom was hot when she was nineteen."

"Oh shut up that's my mother." Sam whacked Diego on the back of his head, "Besides I have an even cooler photo." She flicked to a bookmarked page, "See this castle?" The picture was of Crook's gold palace.

"Yeah."

"Well Mom made this when she was fifteen. She said something really bad happened and she lost control of her fire powers and ran off. Then your dad, my dad, Uncle Ben, and Uncle Toby went after her. That's when they met Firebrand and Observer." Sam explained.

"Wait wait wait wait wait, they knew THE Firebrand and THE Observer?!" Diego leaned forward.

"Yep."

"Wow."

"Wow indeed. Now you kids get inside before you can't see where your going." Jeff popped up from the skylight they used to get up on the roof.

"Si señor." Diego smiled and started to climb down. Sam beat him to it and ran to her room calling "Night Dad!" behind her.

She looked in the mirror in her room and slowly took off her eyepatch. That symbol was still on her right eye.

"I know it means something but I don't know what." She thought. As she slipped in between the covers she thought she saw someone sitting in a tree with big binoculars, "I'm probably seeing things."

Part of her wasn't so sure that was the case.

Holy crap I can't believe that this is over!

I just want to thank all of my faithful readers for your support.

I also want to thank my good friends AllTehFandoms and Full-Nite. I couldn't have done this without you guys.

There will be a sequel- Fire's Shadow. This time focusing on Sam and her friends (basically the next generation of Creepypastas). Each of them have a special ability and they have to save their parents with them!

Anyway I should probably go now.....Bye!

Peace, Love, and Let it go,

Soph.
