HEEEEELLLLLP MEEEEE I'M BOOOORRRREEEEED!!!!! AND I FEEL LIKE DEATH!!!!!
Observer walked behind Crook. He didn't know why, but he half wanted to run away from her, half wanted to stay close to her and protect her. The girl just had a presence. She radiated power, but also gave off weakness. It was clear why Jeff loved her. As they walked back towards the mansion, Observer had elected himself the 'lookout'. Occasionally he would run over to a tree and draw his symbol in it. He could use the symbols to see wherever they were. After many more minutes of walking, they finally made it to the mansion.
"Finally! Man walking takes for freakin ever." Ben collapsed on the grass.
"I can't believe walking takes that much energy out of you." Crook giggled and continued walking towards the mansion. Ben scrambled to his feet and ran after her. Once inside, they took a map and spread it out on the table.
"Okay, so the mansion's here." Masky pointed at the drawing of the mansion, "Which direction was she?"
"To the east." Crook answered simply, "About........maybe 100 yards. Possibly less."
"Either way. Too close to the mansion." Observer frowned.
"Yep. Waaay too close." Ben nodded.
"Masky go get Slender and whoever else you can find." Crook curled her hands into fists, "It's time we end this." Masky nodded.
"Okay." Then he was gone.
A few minutes later they explained the situation.
"We're not quite sure but we think that Janes's going to launch a full scale attack on the mansion." Crook stated like she was giving a report to the president.
"Hmm, this is alarming. How close?" Slender leaned way over the map.
"100 yards tops." Jeff pointed at the spot where Jane had set up her army camp.
"We have to act quickly." A man behind them said. He had brown shaggy hair and a black hoodie. The most prominent feature was a blue mask with black ooze coming out of black, empty eye sockets. The mask had been pushed up to that you could see his mouth.
"Yep, who knows how much more time we have until Jane loses her patience and attacks." Crook lightly slammed her fist into the table.
"Ah you must be Crook." The blue-masked man shook her other hand, "I'm Eyeless Jack, but you can call me Jack."
"Nice to meet you. I'm glad we've got you to help us. Thank you." She smiled with that creepy warmth that also seemed to emanate from her figure. Then the warmth disappeared as she went over what they'd learned so far.
"Strange," Observer thought, "How her emotions can just change like flicking a switch."
An hour later everything had been planned out. The troops were,
Ben
Masky
Hoodie
Jeff
Crook
Slenderman
Eyeless Jack
Laughing Jack
Sonic.EXE
Tails Doll
Lost Silver
Observer
Cursor
Firebrand and
Smile Dog.
They planned to attack Jane before she attacked them. They had to surround her army in order to gain an advantage. The groups went like this.
Going around the back would be
Lost Silver
Hoodie and
Laughing Jack
Going around the right side would be
Eyeless Jack
Slenderman
Cursor and
Sonic.EXE
Going around the left side would be
Masky
Firebrand
Tails Doll and
Smile Dog
The forefront would be
Crook
Ben
Jeff and
Observer.
Once it was all set everyone began to get ready. Crook went up to her room and changed into the outfit she wore when she'd rescued Masky. Now that she thought about it, Crook hadn't seen Matt since that night. She wondered if he had died. Crook went over to a small case on her bookshelf. She opened it slowly, taking out a book. It was the book of family history. She wrote down her name, type of magic, and date. Then she wrote down what was about to happen. One day she'd show her kids this. If she lived through this.
"Don't think like that." Crook whispered aloud, "You'll make it."
In her heart, somehow she doubted that it was true.
