Hai! I'm bored and have nothing else to do. Anyway enjoy!

The fire elemental literally threw us outside. I landed hard on my back, the air getting knocked out of me. Ben jumped up and started walking toward the elemental.

"It is not okay to throw people!" He took out a corn cob and reeled his arm back to throw it. Toby stepped in front of him.

"Just let the fire guy be!" He tried to pry the corn cob out of Ben's hands but that boy has a death grip even when he isn't terrified.

"Okay okay." Ben turned in what seemed to be defeat but then whirled around and chucked the corn as far as he could. The corn was going so fast that it went through the fire elemental. At that moment I decided to call it Dorito. Don't ask cause I really don't know. Well to make a longer story short Dorito got mad.

"For the record, I blame you for this!" I shouted at Ben as we ran.

"I know but do we really have to talk about this now?!" He gasped out as he tried to keep up. Masky ran ahead of us and Toby just kind of POOFED out of thin air. We had to skid around some corn that had caught fire and soon found ourselves face to face with yet another deep trench. It branched off from the one we'd crossed to get to Jenn's palace. Yes I'm calling it a palace now.

"It's at least 20 feet deep." Masky leaned over the edge, "It's too far. We can't jump but we can climb down then see where it goes from there."

"I've got a rope!" Ben took a long rope from his pocket, "Man am I glad I took this thing along. Never know when your gonna need a rope." He tossed it at Masky, who tied it around his waist. Then he helped me tie the rope around myself and Ben.

"What if we fall?" I asked nervously.

"Hopefully we won't get that far." Masky wrapped one end of the rope around a rock at the top. After taking so very deep breaths Ben started to climb down, followed by me and Masky. It took less time to get down to the bottom then it took to set it all up, "So, now what?" Masky turned to me.

"Now what?" Then it hit me, "Ooooh. What are we going to do? She kicked us out! We can't go back with the fire going like this! And then there''s the forest-"

"Whoa whoa don't worry about the forest." Masky paused and glanced at the side of my head, "Worry about your hair."

"Hey I just got chased by a giant fire elemental you should see your hair." I huffed.

"No it's turning white!" Ben looked at me bug eyed. I looked at a strand of my hair. It really was white! Holy crap this was bad, "It's because of the fire thing that happened right before we came in isn't it?" He seemed to be asking me but i'm pretty sure he was just thinking aloud.

"Does it look bad?" I held up the white strands of hair.

"Uh no." Masky said hesitantly. Of course Toby chose that moment to reappear.

"You hesitated." He teased.

"No. I didn't." Masky crossed his arms over his chest and glared at Toby.

"Well now that you guys are safe we can get Jeff to some help!" Toby began to drag me off somewhere down the deep trench.

"M'kay, where are we going?" Ben caught up.

"To some old friends who are here because of the fire thing. So far they've kept out of range of the Black Eyed Kids." Toby shrugged.

"Yeah but who exactly ARE they?" Masky frowned. Toby looked at him like the answer should've been written on his forehead.

"You know, them."

"Who?"

"The Collective. Well not them EXACTLY but two members. They're the only one's who have escaped the BEKs because one of them can teleport in and out of places like you know who." Toby began walking backwards.

"Okay the teleporting one I know but who's the other one." Masky sighed. I personally had no idea what the heck was going on between these two.

"Guess." Toby smiled.

"Ugh Toby I don't have time for this." Masky groaned and looked up at the sky.

"Sure you do. Now guess."

"Curser?"

"Nope."

"Swain?"

"Nope."

"Mr. Scars?"

"Nope." Toby's smile got bigger with every wrong guess. Then Masky's eyes widened and he looked at Toby with a look of confusion.

"It's Firebrand isn't it?" When Toby nodded yes he groaned again, "That just makes this even better. There is no way that those two can be hold up somewhere TOGETHER!"

"Sorry if I'm interrupting but I have absolutely NO idea what you guys are talking about." Ben threw up his arms and waved them around crazily.

"The people Toby's bringing us to. They're-" Masky began but then Toby interrupted excitedly.

"Firebrand and Observer!"

"What the two of them, together? That's impossible, they hate each other." I pointed out.

"Yeah but apparently Jane terrifying enough to make them set aside they're disagreements for the time being and hide together." Masky shrugged and looked up at the sky again. It was beginning to get dark, "They had better know what to do. Cause I'm not going through ANOTHER one of Observer's rants about society."

"Wait he rant's about society too?" I asked sarcastically, "Everyone rants about society."

"I guess your right but he just makes it long and ten times more dramatic then it needs to be." He interlocked his fingers behind his neck.

This was going to be one long night.
