DRAKE

So as per the map the locations were coinciding. We may have trained for three to four days (I honestly don't even remember) but I didn't want to go to a quest just then! But Emma said that she was confident that we would do just fine in the quest and that we should pack whatever was essential for us in a journey because we were to be leaving just the day after.

"But we can't go just tomorrow! We are not trained enough and we can't take a chance to go to a quest in such an awful condition, we need more time to train Emma." I said.

"Drake what you say is true but still us knowing the enemies next move and not doing anything about it is unacceptable. Plus I do think that we have done a lot of progress in these few days. Trust me I have seen my sister's team train in those rooms it took them a few weeks before they could open one single door to the next room."Emma replied.

"But we don't even know if what we have here is even true..."

"Yes Drake but we should still go check it out just in case."

"Drake, Emma is right. It wouldn't hurt to just check..." Josh interrupted our conversation.

I was feeling really angry since I did not want to waste any time in sightseeing. It was an actual quest that we were going to. It is really very dangerous out there... I mean it can be. And so you can say that I lost my temper because of the difference of our opinions,

"From when did you start taking Emma's side Josh...?"

"I am not taking anybody's side here. I am just saying what I think is right."

"Drake there is no need for you to be so hyper. I have never seen you so...angry before. The only time you were ever angry was like never. "Catherine said suddenly concerned about me.

It was then that I realized that I had lost it and so I decided to calm myself. It was only normal to disagree on some facts, so I just nodded, it was best for me not to say anything, I can make situations worse. It was then that I noticed that everybody was staring at me... as if they were all judging me...

"What are you guys looking at!?" I said actually freaking out.

"Drake, Drake... cool down man. We are just concerned that you don't look so well." Charlie said.

"No...I mean..." I was going to answer to Charlie but then I suddenly felt baffled and confused and puzzled. My lips weren't moving... I just sat there still.

"Drake... Drake... You okay?" Emma asked.

I looked around as if I could not understand what they were saying anymore. I could hear all of them calling for me asking me if I was all right. But as I said I was baffled. Then a buzzing noise filled my ear and it felt as if I was losing my vision... as if I was losing my consciousness.

I tried to fight that feeling... trying to make it go away. But nothing was happening... my effort did not make any difference. It felt like I was drowning in that annoying noise.

And just as I was going to give up I felt a sudden plunge. It felt as if I was being pulled out of that horrid... whatever that was. And suddenly I was all awake, all conscious. I looked around and found myself on the floor. Scott, Lucy and Brittney were standing right in front of me with their wands out,

"What happened?" I asked confused.

"Drake you went unconscious... Scott, Lucy and Brittney are using the clear conscious spell to keep you conscious. Once they put their wands down you are going to feel an excruciating headache. My advices don't fall asleep when that happens. You might get horrifying nightmares." Emma advised me.

"Do you know what happened?" I asked Emma. It seemed as if she knew what was going on perfectly,

"I am not sure myself Drake... but I have had this kind of attack before. More than you can imagine. I don't know why it happens but it's painful. So why don't we put the three wands down and deal with the pain."

"No!" she was acting as if it was absolutely normal. It might have been for her but not for me.

"Drake don't worry the pain just continues for five minutes. Just don't fall asleep cause if you do, the pain might continue."

And even before I could answer yes or no Emma signalled the three wizards to put their wands down. And with that the pain came back gushing down on me all at once. I wished to give up, close my eyes and just fall asleep but I didn't want nightmares.

At last the pain went away and then I realized that I was clutching my head very hard and that my fangs were out. I let go of my forehead tired and all sweaty. I was feeling really exhausted,

"You okay Drake?" Lucy asked.

I nodded as Scott and Charlie helped me get up and sit in my chair. I took deep breaths which helped cool me down.

"Drake will you be able to continue to attend the discussion? You can rest if you want..."

"No Emma I will continue..." I said with all the confidence I could muster up at that moment.

"OK then" Emma restarted the discussion. She had a very worried face at first but then her cold and confident face returned." We will be leaving for the quest tomorrow since the funeral will take place day after tomorrow. Now Let's go to the basement." She said getting up.

"Why?" Brittney asked.

"Just follow me" and so following her we walked out of the meeting room.
