Well, I was surprised that Emma wasn't going... I mean... who isn't going to go... It's the SWA awards that we were talking about! It is physically impossible for us not to be excited about it.

Meanwhile Catherine, Lucy and I decided what we were going to wear... Alfred took our suggestions and left right away. We were so excited that we could barely contain it. Though our quest was over and we were surprisingly successful... Emma still wanted us to train and she definitely would not take no for an answer.

We pleaded for her to spare us that day but she refused, we trained for three hours straight, Emma had made our training charts harder than before since we had our abilities activated. We had to concentrate on our abilities during the last one hour.

Emma made Charlie concentrate on making things around him invisible, Josh had to enhance his imagination and so Emma send him to the library to read books, Scott concentrated on freezing all his surroundings, I had to try and keep my light in control since we I no control on it, Catherine tried hard as she concentrated hard to link all our minds together, Brittney had to keep her flames burning for as long as possible without getting her hands burned, since Drake's ability could not be properly tamed she made him train hard, real hard to enhance his physical strength. Meanwhile Emma tried to keep everything around her flying frequently changing the gravity.

Since we no longer had any dangerous quests in front of us we no longer required team training for the time being and hence Emma gave us all separate training rooms. She did so; so that our powers could not clash I mean we did have really different and unique powers.

In the evening when we were taking a break from that continuous three hours intense training when Maddam came to visit us. She was back to herself; I mean there was no way anyone could guess that only a few hours ago she was tied to a wall as a piece of decoration, where she almost starved to death (So she says.)

Maddam thanked us and gave us quite a speech for our wit and bravery... well, we were all proud. Maddam next asked us to show us how our training was going ... which I have to tell you... was a terrible mistake. Maddam made us train twice the harder to that of Emma. Then Maddam and Emma had a chat alone.

Though all the things were fine and going well, something had changed. Charlie was no longer speaking with Josh, he tried his best not be in the same room as Josh it was either that or he just avoided Josh. We all had noticed it, but there was nothing much to be done about it.... it was a issue that they had to figure out on their own.

Well, what Maddam discussed with Emma is still a mystery... Emma did not even give us a single hint about it. We gave up guessing soon. Next, we were having dinner with maddam when she suddenly announced,

"Well, I almost forgot to tell you! Well you see because of your bravery I have decided to nominate you for the best team award. I am really proud to declare this since you had only gone to one mission which, I reckon was terrible."

Well, all of us (Except Emma... nothing ever seems to startle her) just stopped whatever we were doing in surprise... we were all so surprised that we were just still, like statues;

"Are you children all right?" Maddam asked very worried seeing our reaction.

"Oh, they are probably having a heart attack at this moment." Emma ensured her.

But then all of us started speaking at once, describing about how excited we were, how unexpected it was and all that... to such reaction of ours Emma said as quietly as possible,

"Maybe not"

Well, after dinner we all had a hearty time! We were all talking all together in excitement except Josh, Charlie, Emma and Maddam. Maddam was really fondly listening to all of us while Emma was rubbing her forehead now a then as if she was having a headache with all that commotion while Josh and Charlie were just upset.

After that Maddam left soon, saying that she had a lot of things left to do about the function, plus also that she was tired. Scott and Drake went back to the game room to play pool, Emma went to the library to do some more research about something (She never gives herself a rest) while Catherine, Lucy and I continued having a very serious conversation about tomorrow, about what we were going to wear, when we were going to leave and all.

Charlie and Josh were sitting with us for a while... but then Charlie left suddenly in the middle of the conversation and Josh after a while followed him.
