Chapter 14

Emma pov

I can't believe that happened last night. I knew I didn't know Asher that well in terms of what he does, but restaurant owner was definitely not on the list of things that I thought he did. I thought all he did was stay at home and watch TV or ride his motorcycle you know something a normal guy would do, but he owns a restaurant and he didn't even tell me about it. The rest of the night both me and Jude were annoyed well him more pissed than annoyed so I had him drop me off at home instead of the pack house so he could cool down. In my experience angry sex isn't the best kind, the fact that he's a werewolf and an alpha at that only further encourage me to go home. Although I was curious to know how rough he'd be with me

"Morning" mom and dad greeted me when I got down

"Morning" I sighed getting a pop tart

"So how's everything with Jude?" dad asked. To him Jude was probably the perfect guy for me. So Jude being my mate will probably make him delighted

"Alright" I said eating

"That boy really does have everything figured out" dad told me

"Yeah I know" I said smiling at the fact he doesn't know the secret.

"I haven't seen Asher in a while" mom spoke up. She says she likes Jude, but she'll bring up Asher every now and then, I guess being my best friend she saw him as a son or something

"He's busy" I said frowning at the memory

"What does he have to do?" dad scoffed

"He owns a restaurant" I announced

"Angel he's an ok cook, but some operation in his house isn't-" dad started

"No dad I'm serious he owns a restaurant, one that I apparently didn't need to know about" I said annoyed getting up

"Why wouldn't he tell you?" mom asked confused

"I'm about to find out" I declared before going to school. When I got there I was going to go straight to class till I found Rachel

"Hey Emma" she smiled when she saw me coming

"Where's your boyfriend?" I asked trying not to glare at his apparent new girlfriend and bestie

"Noel goes to college" she told me surprised

"Who?" I asked confused

"Noel, my boyfriend. Didn't Asher tell you about that?" she asked her blushing

"He didn't tell me anything, and aren't you going out with Asher?" I asked

"No, why?" she asked shocked

"He asked for your number a while back and I saw you riding on his motorcycle" I inform her

"Oh that, yeah I asked him out and I thought it was a date, but it turned out to be a rejection" she said a little sadly

"What happened?" I asked confused why she was still involved with him

"After the rejection he took me to Celsius and told me to work so I'd stop my 'annoying stuttering' problem" she explained

"That sounds like something he say" I sighed

"Yeah, but working there really did help, I even have a boyfriend now cause of it" she said happily. I guess she did look different more confident, but you kinda have to be to serve tables

"What about the rides?" I asked

"I only rode his motorcycle twice, once on the 'date' and when my mom had to borrow the car for school" she told me. So that's it
