Asher pov

well I said it, I told myself that I would wait but I was so annoyed by that tittle 'best friend' I didn't want to return to that position anymore regardless if she remembers or not she at least needs to know that. after the wolves managed to chase me out of the territory I bought a motel room and stayed the night there thinking about some stuff for the past and what I was going to do now. when it was finally morning I got on my bike and headed for Celsius

"Asher" ross came to greet my when I got there

"she didn't burn the pack down" I said walking into it

"no, she was actually very good at looking after the place while you were gone, how did you know she'd be a good beta?" he asked me

"it's in her eyes" I said remembering the first time I saw her; she was scared, but I felt like she had a strong will

"you're going with that?" he asked me

"mhm" I said going into the dining area where most of the pack was, they all greeted me but I just went over to the food

"yes, ross said you were a good beta" I told her getting a bagel

"you told me to prove myself" she said a little nervous. looks like we have a long way to go with the confidence around here

"what have they've been doing so far?" I asked eating while looking at everyone

"everyone's just been settling in with everything and getting to know each other's" she told me

"the house is nice I wanted it this way but your all gonna work for it" I told her

"yes, your wolves you can't relax all day in the house just cause its nice" I told them
