"please mom, can I please go out?" I asked her on my knees

"you can go out, but only if I'm with you Emma" she told me

"please mom. it's snowing today I really want to go out by myself, I'm a big girl" I told her

"why does it have to be by yourself?" she asked me

"because I want to prove I'm mature, and my friends gonna be there" I told her using puppy dog eyes

".........where are you going?" she sighed

"just to the park" I told her

"well........I guess if it's only the park-" she started

"thank you mom" I shouted jumping in her arms

"I don't want you out there acting crazy cause I'm not with you" she told me

"I promise I'll be good" I told her before going upstairs to get ready. I made sure to put on the best winter clothes I had, put on some lip gloss, took my small back pack and headed downstairs

"don't run. your gonna slip and fall one of these days" mom told me

"sorry, I'm going now" I told her before getting out the house and going to the park, today was a snow day so kids were outside playing but I hope not too many people were at the park

"Asher" I waved to him while he was sitting on a bench eating a blow pop. I told him if we get to have a snow day to meet me here I was a little scared he wasn't going to show

"why don't you ever say hi to me" I pouted

"you'll take it the wrong way" he told me making me pout more cause he was right but then he handed me his blow pop

"so you don't get sick" he told me and I took it happily

"this is kinda like a kiss" I told him smiling

"stop being stupid" he told me but I sat next to him on the bench

"there aren't to many people yet so can I hold your hand?" I asked him

"no" he told me

"just a little bit only for two minutes" I told him wanting to and he sighed making me smile and take his hand. it was cold but it's a different kind of cold

"can you teach me, I have the hat, button and carrot" I said motioning to the bag
