Asher pov

I feel it deep within, it's just beneath the skin

"Asher" Cora shouting entering my office making me sigh while turning off the music on my phone

"What?" I asked looking up to see her worried face

"I'm sorry, I tried to hold them back but-" she started only for Emma's father to storm into the room coming straight for me once again making me sigh before he reached over my desk and punched my cheek as hard as he could

"You're a lying son of a bitch, I knew I should've taken my family and left the moment I saw you in that damn chair of yours!" he shouted in my face holding onto my shirt while I only stared at him

"Henry stop we ta-" Emma's mother started rushing in

"What the hell do you want me to do Lexi? Emma's gone, and this kid isn't doing a fucking thing. She could be dead for all we know!" henry shouted while Emma's mother's eyes started to tear up unable to say anything

"She's not-" I started only to once again get punched by henry

"Shut the hell up, you don't know shit about what's going on she's been for gone two days because of you and you don't even care!"

Two days ago, Emma and Scarlett somehow managed to disappear, they both vanished without a trace. There wasn't a scent to track at the fair and no one has heard anything from either one of them. But it was clearly obvious what was going on here

"She's not dead" I declared before moving away from henry, he struggled to keep me in place but failed

"How do-" he started

"Jude has them" I announced making them both henry and Lexi look at me wide eyed

"Am I right?" I asked turning to Cora

"W-well we have people watching alpha Jude's territory like you asked but we can't say that they have Emma or Scarlett since they won't let us get close without a fight....... But we have noticed the pack has almost tripled in size and they seem to be preparing for something big"

"If you know where she is why are we just standing around with our thumb up our asses instead of getting her back!" henry exclaimed

"Because we can't" I said leaning back in my seat before quickly sitting back up

"What the hell do you mean we-" Lexi started

"As everything stands now Jude thinks he's running the show and has us beat. If we go charging in and taking him down he goes even further off the deep end than he already has and winds up killing Scarlett"

"But Scarlett-" Cora started

"Shouldn't have been able to be kidnapped unless Jude found out what we are, in which case it is possible he can kill her" I explained making her look even more worried than before till henry slammed his fist against my desk
