Chapter 5: Yin Yang
"WHAT? THERE IS NO WAY I CAN MANAGE TO DO THAT!" Amaryllis yelled.
"That's why I'm training you" Sage sighed. "This is gonna be harder than I thought"
"You can't always use words. You can't always explain things over" Sage told Amaryllis. "You can't do what the town officials do Amaryllis. Not with a new generation is rising"
"I can't do that" she trembled as flashbacks appeared before her, dropping her sword on the process. Memories that weren't hers tormented her mind until it all vanished by Sage's voice.
"I can't promise that I'll be here to protect you at all times" Sage explained."Do you know the concept of Yin Yang"
"Ye-Yeah" Amaryllis nodded.
"Yin represents darkness, cold, weak, contracting, and downward movement. Yang represents brightness, warm, wider and upward movement" Sage stated. "The continual movement of these two energies is shown by its shape. It's like morning to night or hot to cold"
>>TIMESKIP>>
"Next thing I'll teach you is Sky Road" Sage told her.
"Sky Road?" she echoed.
"Aye, you can use it to travel above air" Sage said. "You'll be flying in the air!"
"That sounds cool!" Amaryllis's eyes lit up in excitement.
"Only a few known are capable to do this though" Sage interjected. "There is actually one person I know that can use this"
"What are we waiting for?" Amaryllis pumped her fists in the air. "Let's start!"
He smiled at her enthusiasm.
The next thing that happened was a blinding white light surrounding Sage and momentarily blocked out Amaryllis' sense of sight.
