"Really, she visited us? Why didn't you wake me up?" Amaryllis frowned at Sage.
"You said you were sleepy" Sage defended.
"But! You! Forget about it!" Amaryllis was annoyed, her arms crossed. Her eyes were soon fixed on the guy. "By the way, Sage..."
Sage looks up to Amaryllis, showing that he was listening.
"I've checked his wounds and he can, he can go if he wants to" Amaryllis whispered.
"Why are you telling it to me? Am I the one who is leaving?" Sage told her.
"Can't you just tell it to him?" Amaryllis asked.
"Tsk, why me? I'm not the one who's checking his wounds and you were also the one who said that he won't leave the island without those wounds" Sage explained, draining all the excuses that Amaryllis could think of.
Amaryllis' POV
Yes, why won't I tell him that? This is the first time I felt this feeling again. Shyness. I spoke to him before but as the days pass, I can't find the courage to talk to him again.
"Well?"Sage broke the train of my thoughts.
"Fine. I'll tell him" I stood and walked towards the grotto.
I saw him.... Wait a minute!
"Hey! Who told you that you have the authority to read that?!" Amaryllis took the book from the stranger's hands.
He stared at me with blunt eyes. "It's extremely boring here. When can I leave this cursed place?"
Cursed place... Extremely boring....
I never said I was an inactive volcano. I'm a dormant one. I sleep and I can explode anytime. Before I could shoot some words at him, I calmed down.
"You can leave now if you want" I said in a low tone.
Sorry if he finds this island boring and cursed since there's no one else in this island whose human except for me!
"It seems like you're boiling with anger" he spoke all of a sudden. I never realized my face was turning scarlet.
"Ignore it" I stated.
"I'll go now" he told me. This time I was watching his actions, who knows he might trip or something.
"Umm, can you walk on your own?" I asked.
"I wasn't born yesterday" he said.
Man this guy is annoying! I would've beaten him!
My eyes snapped back to reality. Good thing I was able to catch him before he might crash.
"I'll assist you. After all you wouldn't know where the boat is..." I said to him.
Even though he didn't answer me back, his eyes were saying 'FINE' in a way like he had no other choice.
Law's POV -Before Amaryllis went to the Grotto-
This place is boring. I turned my neck to scan the grotto again. I saw a shelf of books.
I stood up, ignoring the wobbly feeling of my knees and grabbed a book before I fell back on the bed again.
Hmmm... I wonder what this book's about. I noticed that the book is unprinted. Flower's Tale. Now that is a boring title.
I began reading the book. It seems like it's about the girl's life. Flower, her name is based on a flower, Amaryllis.
