"It was just a midnight stroll" I reasoned out. We were inside his room as I sat on the edge of the bed as he interrogated me.
“Eradicator-ya…”Captain heaved a sigh and shook his head. He glanced at me and continued, “Do you have any other excuses?”
“What else would I do there?” I inquired and wanted to see his response.
And for some unknown reason, he chuckled and rested his forehead on his palm.
“You never fail to amuse me Eradicator-ya” the edges of his lips curved into a smile.
“What are you talking about Captain?” I asked but he laughed some more.
“You’re interesting” he glanced at me with a smirk on his face. “That’s all I wanted to say”
I don’t know how to explain what I’m feeling but he’s creepy or maybe it’s because I’m really not used to him that much. >.<
“Just don’t go overboard okay?” before I came to, Captain stood in front of me and poked my forehead.
“Itai” {Ouch} I massaged the spot. “Naze sore ga watashi no warui atama wa tsuneni arimasu ka?” {Why is it always my poor head?}
“Sencho!” {Captain!} Bepo’s voice was heard just outside the door. “Darekaga anata ni tegami o okutta” {Someone sent you a letter}
By the time Captain called Bepo in, I made my way outside and leaned against the wall as I took in lots of air.
“I think I almost forgot how to breathe” I muttered to myself.
Just when I was about to walk away, Bepo came out of the room and I’m not sure about it but…
It seemed like he knew where the letter came from.
“Hey Bepo” I called for his attention and continued, “Who sent the letter?”
“Eh?” he cocked his head in confusion. “There wasn’t any name of the sender on it so I really don’t know”
“I see” I nodded as I went into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee for me. There’s no use of sleeping now since its sunrise already.

“Eh?!” Edraele-san exclaimed in disappointment. “Your captain’s got a girlfriend already?”
“Why are you making a big fuss about it Rae-chan?” I asked her, calling her by the nickname I made. “What’s the big deal?”
“What’s the big deal?” Edraele echoed what I just said and glanced at me with hands on her hips. “A hot captain like him should pair up with a cutie like you!”
“WHAT THE HECK?!” I yelled but quickly covered my mouth. “Rae-chan, what the heck are you talking about?”
“But Amaryllis-chan-“she pouted in a whisper until I nudged her by the shoulder since the guards and Marines alike silenced us. “Akise-kun’s near isn’t he?” She darted her attention to every nook and cranny.
What a mood-swing. >.<
“Ne, ne, Tantei-san, I want to see him up close please~” she hugged my shoulder and begged.
“Rae-chan” I spoke. “I’m not even sure if I’ll get that close to him now. Just because it happened before doesn’t mean it’ll happen again”
I glanced at them. “It’s time already”
Silence was maintained in the security room for a few minutes until Edraele asked a question to the Marines.
