[Tobias]
I pack my things up from my math class and I stand up, glancing at the time on my watch. I couldn't call Tris this morning because I had a class that was really early and I am just getting out of my last class. It's only 11 in the morning, and I don't know exactly how her classes run so I am going to call her later. I grab my phone and I don't see any missed messages from her and I sigh, just as I lift my head up I collide with a slightly tall figure and I look up to see a girl staring at me with light green eyes.
"Sorry about that." She gives me a smile and bends down to pick up something, "I guess we all have second day jitters." She gives me another smile and I nod my head at her.
"Yeah." I agree as she tucks a strand of her dark brown hair behind her ear, "Sorry again." I give her another nod before I head towards my room.
[Tris]
"This place is really big, I have most of my classes in building B." Christina tells me as she takes a bite of her sandwich, "Where are your classes?" I lean back against my chair and glance around the large canteen. After getting a tour from Johanna we had an assembly and then retreated to the canteen to eat lunch, then we are going to meet up with our groups once more before we break up again to locate our classes we are going to attend tomorrow.
"I have all of my core classes in building D, and my exploratory classes are in building B." I tell them, taking a bite of my sandwich as well. The food here is really good, better than West Davidson's. "How about you Will? Lynn?"
"I have all of my classes in building C." Lynn tells us.
"Half of mine are in B and the rest are in A."
We continue to eat lunch until we have to meet back up, and still no text from Tobias. He texted me yesterday about his schedule, and I know now that he doesn't have any classes or any for the rest of the day so he could have texted me. I cross my arms over my chest and follow everyone around. Matthew was good company to have, he made me laugh and he met Christina, Will, and Lynn.
Before I know it, we are driving back to my place and I am in my bed, huddling with one of Tobias' hoodies and my hair is in a bun. My phone buzzes and I smile brightly when I see that Tobias is calling, "Hello?" I answer, feeling my heart swell when I hear his deep voice on the other line.
"Hey babygirl, sorry I didn't call you earlier. I didn't know what time your classes ended and I didn't want to disturb you. How was school?"
"School was fine. I got my schedule and I met a new person, his name is Matthew."
"His?" Tobias questions covetous running through his voice and I sigh and roll my eyes, "Your new friend is a boy?"
"Don't sound jealous Tobias, you know I have you. You have to have trust in me." I groan on the phone at my boyfriend. "He's nice and funny―"
"That's nice," I can just imagine Tobias clenching his jaw, Tobias struggles with jealousy when it comes to me, someone could have a million dollars and flaunts it in his face and he wouldn't care. But, if I just talk to a boy, he gets defensive and tries to find many flaws in the boy like he did with Al in high school. So, I know that it's hard for him being miles away from me and for myself to talk to a boy. "Well, I got home a while back and I haven't been doing anything. I'm going to go to the canteen with Gabe to get something to eat for dinner, he really wants to meet you by the way. And, it's less than three months before we go on break for Thanksgiving." Tobias rants on.
"Yup." I whisper, smelling his lingering cologne on his hoodie that reaches my nose and relaxes my whole body. "Tobias, just know that you don't have to worry about me falling in love with someone else. You have my heart."
"I wish I could kiss you, I miss your lips so much." He tells me and I smile, biting my lip. I feel the same way, I miss my soulmate dearly and I just want to cuddle up with him but he's miles away. I really need something to occupy myself with something to keep my mind off of Tobias.
He and I continue to talk all night long until the sun is down and sleep awaits the both of us. Just hearing his voice puts me in a good mood, I love him so much and he needs to know that. I want us to be together until the end of time and I can't wait until he returns home.
