[Tobias]

With Susan being pregnant, things that were supposed to be said and not done yet, now has to be done. I'm going to move out of the Prior's household in two weeks. After working with my financial adviser, I have enough to get the apartment and still afford it while away in Michigan. The apartment comes with water, gas, and electricity so that's a plus, and come to find out that a lot of money was left to me from previous family members, even Evelyn left me a nice piece of change.

The reason I am leaving is because Susan is going to spend a lot of time there, at least until the anger dies down in her family household. I feel like I am taking up a lot of space in their house and now with Susan spending more-than-needed time there, I endure a sense of being a burden.

Tris was more than happy when I told her that I was going to push my time up with living there, which made moving there even more better. When Tris and I walked throughout the apartment yesterday, I could see Tris and I laying on the rug while having dinner and looking at the night sky through the large window. I saw Tris in the kitchen making breakfast before I awoke, I saw myself holding Tris in my arms in the bedroom. I saw Tris with me. This morning, I decided to take Tris to The Wormhole, one of the best café's that's in The Loop, where I would occupy very soon.

We both went to the apartments to talk to the rental community/landlord. We got more information on the apartments and rent―which wasn't that bad considering that they are luxury apartments. Then, I wanted to treat Tris to some coffee and pastries for always being there for me and going into the chilled air. I got a cinnamon muffin and Tris got a chocolate stuffed croissant, the chocolate instantly oozed out when she took her first bite and I straightaway regretted that I didn't get one.

"Thanks for bringing me here," Tris leans on her arm, I smile and take in her beauty. She has on a pair of denim jeans that have rips in them, but olive colored leggings underneath. She has a olive, tight, long-sleeved olive shirt, with my denim jacket over top and a baseball cap over top of her straight hair. Black lines her eyes, fuchsia coats her lips, and Adidas tennis shoes cover her feet. Even dressed down, she looks stunning, "This is my first time being here."

"It won't be your last because you'll always be with me at." I wink at Tris who blushes deeply at my double-meaning, her giggle brings music to my ears and she purses her lips showing her dimples on her cheeks. I take a small sip of my steaming coffee and can't help but to moan, this coffee is delicious, I don't know what they do but they put mines to shame―and my coffee is delicious.

"So, Susan texted me while we were in the meeting," Tris leans back in her chair, "Today was her appointment, come to find out that she's two months."

I widen my eyes at Tris, "Two months?" I raise my eyebrows, "She was pregnant for a while and didn't even know it."

"Yes, her stomach wasn't getting larger to recognize and she really wasn't getting symptoms until now which made her go to the hospital because she thought it was the common flu." Tris bites her lip, seeming deep in thought.

"She wishes." I chuckle slightly at myself and Tris glares at me for trying to lighten the mood.

"Bastard," Tris mutters while rolling her eyes at me, I nudge her leg with my foot under the table and she looks up at me, seeming upset but also giving me a smile. Tris looks out the window and narrows her eyes at the dark clouds, "Is it supposed to snow?" I nod my head at her and she widens her eyes at me.

Tris and I talk about the snow coming down to Chicago and our late lunch yesterday with our friends at a pizza parlor, I even bring up life for her back in the big apple and mock her accent which she finds hilarious. Then, my phone rings and I look down to see Lauren calling me, "Hello?"

"Hey! Four! How are you? It's been a while since I've called." Tris pouts and crosses her arms at me and I can't help but to know that I'm going to have an earful of her when I get off the phone, so I have to prolong this phone call.

"Hi, I'm fine. Out with Tris right now." Tris raises her eyebrows as Lauren lets out a low chuckle.

"Well, we're packed in like sardines up here with the snow. I went out yesterday with my sister to go skating at Lake Michigan, a lot of people were there so that was fun. I can't wait until you come up here because I'm going to take you out to go skating. Have you ever been ice skating?"

"No, I've never been ice skating. That sounds fun―" Before I can even blink an eye, move a muscle, open my mouth, Tris has the phone in her hand with her eyebrows knitted tightly.

"Hello? Yes, this is his girlfriend, I don't know if you've heard of me." Tris glares at me while talking to Lauren who I am sure is probably stunned. I'm glad we chose a seat that's close to the back away from the people and commotion of people walking in to get a quick fix of caffeine and sweetness for the day, "If you clearly didn't hear him the first time; He's. with. me. So, that means you tell him goodbye and don't talk to him until you see him back at school. The only time he's not with me, where you have the open floor. So, I suggest you go play in the snow or something because he's with me at the moment." Tris hangs up in poor, poor, poor, Lauren's face and tosses me my phone before scooting out her chair and storming out, leaving me completely stunned.

I find Tris leaning against the truck, on her phone while mumbling to herself. I come up from behind her and place my arms around her rigid body, instantly feeling bad for having her get upset with me and standing outside in the cold. I press a kiss to her forehead and she visibly relaxes in the warmth of my arms, "And I thought I was the jealous one," I whisper and Tris lets out a small chuckle, "I shouldn't have taken her call, she's just a friend. I don't want you to think otherwise." She's a friend to me, like Matthew is to her. Of course I wouldn't ever tell her that because that would start a unabridged conversation.

"Tobias," Tris lets out a sigh before looking up to me and I smile, "You're too sweet." I don't know where that came from, but I accept the compliment. Tris smiles and lets out a sigh, I can tell that something is on her mind but I don't pester it because she will get annoyed and I don't want an argument between the two of us. I know when she finally wants to talk about it, she will tell me. I just have to wait, like an apple ready to be picked―if you pick it too soon and it's not ready, everything will be screwed up—I have to wait for the perfect time.

"Let's go home." I open the door for Tris and she gets inside, when I get inside I find her leaning against the door with her hand on her hand staring out the window. I start the car up and put on the heat, I place my hand on her thigh, her hand on top of mines, and pull out of the coffee shop parking lot.
