[Tobias]

I stretch out my sore muscles as I leave my job, I had to quit my job at Lowes because I needed more money than just a couple of dollars every Friday. Instead, I work at a gym where I help with part-time lessons and cleaning equipment. It's a lot to do, but it's much more money where I can provide for Tris and myself.

Tris.

Things have been so difficult lately between the two of us, and for some odd reason I feel that's she's lying to me somehow and I don't know what it is. My plan is to wait for her to open up and wait—I can just feel it. We've been together for a while and it just unsettling to know that she's not comfortable enough to tell me something, I know that I'm not really approachable but I thought that she will at least feel comfortable to tell me something and we work through it together.

I step inside my apartment and hear nor see any trace of Tris until I hear the soft humming of the television of our room. Our, I want Tris to keep that in her mind that this is her apartment because without her I wouldn't even have most of this fitting furniture. I feel so vile for having such words leave my mouth that were directed towards her. I would never want to hurt her physically or verbally, or any type of way.

My feet lead me to the bedroom and I see my girlfriend half-asleep in nothing but one of my t-shirts, I kick off my shoes and pull off my clothes until I am in my boxers and slide beside her. If I did some strenuous work at the gym I would take shower, but all I did was do inventory for the clothes we sell and weights, stuff like that.

I smile as I hear her let out an welcoming moan and snuggles up to my chest. I kiss her forehead and wrap my arms around her, leaving the television playing behind us. I honestly want to just pack Tris up and take her somewhere where we can just relax and leave all of our problems behind here in Chicago. But, that's not realistic and I have to wait until I get a little bit more time on my job before I can take some time off.

Tris moans again and throws her leg over my waist and tries to get closer  to me, "Hello," Leaves her mouth in a groggled noise as she lets out small yawn and places a kiss on my chin, "How long have you been here?"

"About 5 minutes." I answer, kissing her lips. Finally, I get the fix I've wanted all day. She's like a drug and I'm a druggie, nothing can't seem to keep me away from her, "Hello, how was your day?" I question, feeling her muscles finally relax under the touch of my fingers.

"Fine, I just got some stuff done around here. How was work?" She questions, tracing patterns on my bare chest.

"Tiring, I'm just glad I'm home." That's the last thing that tumbles out of my mouth before I give her one last kiss and we both fall asleep.

[Tris]

The weekend went by quick and on Sunday we decided to go out with our friends to get some brunch on West Diversey. Shauna had said something about a great restaurant she and Zeke goes to  on Sunday's. I think it's called Son of a Butcher by Whisk. Sounds like a book, but she claims it's amazing.

I emerge from the bathroom, finally ready. For some odd reason I felt like putting some effort into my outfits instead of just always being casual. Today, I put on a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans, a red cropped halter top, and my Adidas superstars. I straightened my mass of hair and parted it in the middle, tucking it behind my ears when I was finished. red coated my lips and I had some brown eyeliner and mascara.

"Finally, done!" I pop out of nowhere, nearly startling Tobias but behind his poker-face I know his heart is beating. I laugh and jump on his back which was quite a challenge being a short as me, "Onward! My amazing boyfriend."

Tobias chuckles, a deep , rich, sound that I've missed so much while he was gone fills my ears and puts me in such a true state of tranquility I almost fall asleep, "You are something else, babygirl." He turns his head and kisses my cheek as we leave his apartment and go downstairs to his truck so we can get some food because I am starving. The mood is much lighter than expected and for once I forget all about everything that has happened between us and focus about the now. We sing songs in our 'amazing' voices together and soon we are pulling up to the restaurant.

Will and Christina are standing by there cars and by the looks of it, it seems like Zeke and Shauna are just pulling up, "How are you late to your own invite?" Christina asks Shauna with a chuckle of her own. It almost amazes me because it seems just like yesterday when we were in high school and went to football games, now we have graduated and have problems of our own.

"Someone," Shauna gives Zeke a pointed look as he sheepishly walks towards Tobias and Will, "Didn't want to wake up this morning, so it took a while for him to actually get in his mind that we were going to get food. He thought I was lying, where is everyone else?"

I honestly want to get inside because the summer sun is beating down on my head and shoulders, it's refreshing in some way but I don't like the heat and I would rather not get an uneven tan, "Marlene texted me and told me that they are 5 minutes away and Lynn is coming too. Did you invite Matthew?" Christina turns towards me.

I shake my head, "I forgot all about it." That's half the reason and the other half is because Matthew would probably crap his pants at the sight of Tobias and I can't have that. I've noticed that Matthew tends to have word-vomit and continue to talk when he's nervous, he would probably slip up and tell the whole world that he kissed me on the Ferris Wheel and I would really have to murder him. I want to be the one who tells Tobias. . . when the time is right

Soon, everyone has arrived and the last person to arrive is Lynn. What I didn't expect is to see Mickey and Tobias' face is frightening as Mickey gives me a hug. . . oh boy. What do we have in store for today?
