[Tris]

His large, warm, hands that I've grown accustomed to slides up and down my bare back, pressing kisses all across my face. My mother told me once when I was sixteen that when a boy thinks of his future with his girlfriend involved, he's serious and that has never made more sense than now. I know that Tobias wants to have a future with me, so I have to back up and let him plan his future. Even if it hurts.

"I love you." Sweet nothings are exchanged between the two of us as we lay under my covers, warming up against each other with our body heat. After feeding Tobias with some leftovers, we took showers and got into bed, ready for tomorrow.

"You know, these curlers are really in the way." Tobias chuckles, pushing the pink and purple rollers back, pressing a kiss to my forehead. I laugh and wrap my arms around his bare torso, remembering the ink that covers his scared back, kissing over his heart. "I want to take you out Sunday. Just the two of us."

"Where?" I question, looking up into his beautiful blue eyes. He raises his eyebrows at me and I groan and roll my eyes at him, "Of course you aren't going to tell me because it's a surprise." I mock him in a deep voice and he laughs and grabs my leg and puts it across his waist and he pulls me close.

I smile and we both lean forward at the same time for a kiss, our lips lock and he rolls on top of me. The pressure of his lower body pressing against mine, "Are we really going to do this?" Tobias questions in a whisper and I smile and nod my head at him, pressing my lips against his once more.

The next morning goes by quick. Caleb, Tobias, and I set the table up for dinner and then start warming up all of the food. After freshening up, the boys go downstairs to watch the football game and I start to dress up for dinner. I first go to the bathroom to do my makeup and hair. My makeup is my usual routine with burgundy lipstick, and I take the rollers out of my hair and it falls a bit past my shoulder in a heap of curls. I tame it a little bit, but I leave it so it is shorter than usual and leave the curls in. When I am getting dressed, Christina steps inside.

"You look so pretty!" She gleams, giving me a brief hug before letting me slip on my thigh high socks. Christina gasps and then throws herself on my bed, "I can't believe that Four is here, that is such a great surprise. When did he get home?" She asks as I slip on my skirt.

"He surprised me last night around 7, he wasn't supposed to be here until late tonight. But, he left earlier and came back to Chicago. It was very sweet of him." I can't help but to let a smile form across my face, Christina gives a chuckle when I am putting on my shoes. I put on some earrings and leave my chain on my necklace.

"Well I'm assuming he didn't just get in bed with you and you two fell asleep like saints." Christina bumps me with her elbow and I roll my eyes at her while she breaks into laughter. We descend down the steps and I look over the banister to see Caleb, Tobias, Stephanie, Mom, and Damien, Christina's father along with Christina's little sister, Rose. "The food smells amazing by the way, I helped Mom with the extra's she brought and then I helped Will and his family out. They love me." She laughs while I roll her eyes.

I've never really had a good relationship with Marcus, and I never met Evelyn and I never would because she's dead. But, I guess it's not meant to be, Marcus hates me and I hate him. So the feeling is mutual between the two of us. I hear a gasp and Rose runs towards me, throwing her arms around my torso, "You look pretty, Tris!" She smiles and I laugh hugging the 8-year-old back. I still remember the day Mrs. Johnson told us that she was expecting.

"Thanks." I give her a smile while all of the parents nod in approval.

"You do look stunning, Tris." Tobias gives me a hug and presses a kiss on my forehead.

"Not to sound rude, but let's get this show on the road. I'm starving." Caleb rubs his stomach and we all nod in agreement. We go into the dining room and take seats, I sit in between Tobias and Christina, Rose and Caleb are across from us, Mom is sitting at the head of the table and Mrs. Johnson is sitting at the other in with Mr. Johnson across from Christina. We dine in on delicious food from both houses and before I know it, the parents are in the kitchen laughing while drinking wine while Christina and I pop popcorn for our friends.

"The popcorn is finished, don't eat it." I give Caleb, Rose, and Tobias a look and they nod their heads at me. I pull out the blankets and lay some movies out. Within ten minutes everyone is here and we are watching movies while we eat popcorn and dessert.

"Man, I missed this. The pressure is so on at college, and I just needed this." Zeke lets out a yawn, snuggling up to Shauna.

"I agree, at least our Winter break is long. We are gonna be here until late January." Marlene smiles.

"Well, I'm happy we're together. Now, let's just live in the moment."
