"You know, you never told me how exactly you found this beautiful place."

Tobias turns to me on the couch and gives me a smile. Dinner was amazing as always, we made it together. Homemade pizza was on the menu and we skipped desert to share thoughts together on the couch, in front of the fire place, "When I went to visit my Financial Adviser. Like I told you, they found money and venue's left from my grandparents. Only money that came from Evelyn, but my grandparent's left money and places. They were filthy rich, and I was fortunate enough to get my hands on it before Marcus." Tobias clutches my hand in his, "I put money off to college, and money towards my apartment. Still enough to have money for myself. My grandfather worked as a coal miner, he got lung cancer which made him retire. He got money from that and his father left him money, he died so quickly he really didn't get to do anything with the money. So, my grandmother signed it off to me instead of their own son. Money from my mother's bank account, my job, and grandparents. Even some old jewelry that I have."

"So, this was one of the spots they left?" I question, placing my legs on his lap. His large hands work wonders around my bare calf's, squeezing and relaxing them, my muscles practically turning into mush, "It's really up to date."

He cringes slightly before opening his mouth, "Marcus recently got this place built, this actual lot is from my grandparents. But, this whole place is built from the ground up for the pleasure of Marcus. But, now it's in my name. It's not his anymore." Trouble washes over his face as I sit back, knowing many things are running through his head right now, "Marcus did some horrible things and I'm glad that I went to talk to my F.A, they really answered some things I didn't know. It's like I officially have Marcus out of my life and I couldn't be happier."

I slip out of Tobias' grasp and I sit on his lip, my legs on his side, "Tobias, I love you. So, much. I remember the day when you asked me to go out and we went out. You kissed me at the Navy Pier and after that, my life changed. My dad would be so proud to know how preeminent you're treating me." I give a slight chuckle, feeling pressure build behind my eyes at the memory of my father, "He would hate you when we first started going out, but now he would treat you like family. He would always tell me as a little girl, 'find a man that means something to you, find a man who will be willing to be with you forever and treat you like a queen. Who will give you everything you need, the same way I treat your mother.'"

"And, I'm happy to say, that you are doing everything my father asked for. Even more."

A wide grin breaks out across his face and he grabs my face in between his hands and presses a kiss to my lips, savoring my mouth slowly and cherishing it like his life depends on it. He hands run up and down my back slowly, goosebumps popping up on my skin. He breaks away from my mouth to pull my shirt off of my body, leaving my upper half bare, "So beautiful." He murmurs against my lips and I smile.

He's everything I ever wanted, and I have him here, worshiping my body. I'm proud to call him my boyfriend.

A loud knocking startles me out of my sleep, my eyes shoot open and I press my head further into the mattress. Who could possibly find us out here? I tap Tobias with my foot, stretching my legs out and getting on my knees, "Tobias, someone's at the door." I whimper.

Tobias sighs and throws the cover off of his body, pressing a kiss to my lips and putting on his t-shirt, "That must be your surprise, good morning."

"Surprise?!" I exclaim, turning over on my back, watching him put on some sweatpants, "Tobias, you pampered me enough. I don't need another gift." Tobias lifts me out of the bed, making me shriek and he holds me tightly to his body. We go down to the steps and he opens the door and my heart leaps in my chest. Christina, Will, Shauna, Zeke, Marlene, Uriah, Lynn, and Matthew stands on the other side of the door.

"Hey!" I jump out of Tobias' arms, launching myself into their arms giving them big hugs. I missed my friends, even though I am happy to be with Tobias for this long time, and I like I said a few days ago, he treats me like a queen, I am glad to be around my friends for a laugh.

Christina slings her arm around my shoulder while the guys greet Tobias, "Man, you are one lucky girl. This is beautiful, and you're away from central Chicago too?" She wiggles her eyebrows at me while a blush spreads across my face. Anyone would know that Tobias and I are doing more things than eating food and watching movies.
I whip around and meet eyes with Matthew, I give him a big smile and carefully launch myself into his arms, giving him a large hug, "Tris, you don't have to be so careful. My accident was almost a week ago, I feel fine." He squeezes me tighter and I laugh, "We brought everything to get this party started!"

Today is New Years eve, I totally lost track of time. Yesterday Tobias and I took a small walk around the perimeter and got more firewood, he said we were going to need a lot of wood but I never looked into it. Now, that I have all of our friends in front of me, I know why, "We stopped by Over-Easy and got some brunch for all of us." Uriah smiles at me, his dimples stretching out against his cheek, "Four! When you stop crying over us being here, can you help us with the food for tonight?" I catch Tobias glaring at Uriah making a giggle escape my lips.

I wonder what's in store for us tonight?
