Reader of the chapter is: ThearBear ! Just because your real funny and always make me laugh like a donkey. And I just found out that I'm in your fave authors thing in your bio? Wow, that's so sweet!

Avi missed Kirstie. Not just because she moved away to LA, although that wasn't the greatest. He missed being able to kiss her. He missed being able to tell her everything. He missed everything that they had before Jeremy ruined it.

It had been two years since they broke up, but Avi still had feelings like no other. But she was still with Jeremy and she was happy. And that is all Avi wanted, was for her to be happy. Even if it meant her being with the one person he absolutely couldn't stand.

Scott was beyond pissed. Not that he wasn't informed of the old relationship, but at Jeremy. He stole her from Avi, and Scott was just now realizing how horrible it made Avi feel. He had to love her, still feeling this way after two years of just being friends.

Come to think of it, Avi had to of had a hard senior year with this information being thrown at him. Scott honestly didn't know how he could hide it so well. He said if it wasn't for Kirstie wanting the fighting to end, then he would've continued to fight.

Scott feels his phone buzz, signaling a text from Kirstie.

Kirstie: Don't flip out. Second hospital trip. Just a check up to see how he is doing.

Scott: Okay...keep me updated. He won't answer my texts or anything. He's pissed at my phone call.

Kirstie: Yeah I know. He told me all about it and now he is pissed at me for agreeing with it. He will get over it.

Scott wanted to see something. He wouldn't bring up any information that he knew, but see how Kirstie reacted with Avi.

Scott: How is Jeremy?

Kirstie: He is Jeremy.

Scott: Avi and I miss you so much.

Kirstie: And I miss you and Avi.
Kirstie: Oh my god. I've barely even been talking to Avi.

Scott: How could you not have? Aren't you guys really close.

Kirstie: Closer than you'd think.

Scott chuckles. Kirstie would always send little hints about her and Avi to him, but he never picked up on them until now.

Scott: Closer than I'd think?

Kirstie: Nevermind. I gotta go. I'll text Avi later. See ya soon?

Scott: Like a week and a half.

But really only three days. He was leaving on Saturday, and it was Wednesday night. He had everything packed for the most part, except a few things he still needed. It took four suitcases to pack every thing he needed to move to a different state. Avi was going to help him bring things to the airport.

The door creaks open and Avi walks in, moving over and sitting on the edge of Scott's guest bed.

"So...you're leaving soon." Avi says.

"Yep. I'll finally get out of your place and out of the way." Scott jokes.

"You weren't in the way. It's actually been really great rooming with you." He says. Scott didn't want to cry, but he had a feeling he would at the end of the conversation.

"I'm so thankful I have a friend like you, Avi. I'd still be crammed in bed and depressed without you."

"I'm thankful I did help you. It's sad seeing you leave, man." Avi confesses. Scott frowns. "I'm going to miss you."

"I'll miss you too."

"When you first came here, I thought you'd be a mopey mess the whole time and that I'd have to deal with it. But you ended up being the roommate I never had. I never wanted a roommate, but now that you stayed here, I think I want one. After you leave, I'll get pretty lonely."

"Stop, stop, stop. Don't make me sad. Stop." Avi chuckles.

"I can't imagine what it'll be like without you here with me."

"Avi..." Scott feels a tear slip. "You'll forever be my favorite roommate. Kirstie and Mitch will be nothing compared to you. They can't help me like you can, and you have always been there for me. They're just big drama queens." Avi laughs.

"That they are."

"I'll never get bro talk again!" Scott jokes.

"You're going to be the man in the house!"

"I know! I've never been one of those. First it was my dad, then you. Now it's going to be me." Avi laughs and pulls Scott in for a hug.

"Don't be sad when you leave. You're going to have an amazing time in LA with them. A better time than you'd ever expect."

"I hope so."

"I know so."

"And we will visit each other. All the time. I refuse to not see you."

"I've seen a side of you I've never seen before Scott. It's been amazing." Avi smiles.

"Right back at you. No more sad stuff, Avriel. Let's make dinner."

---------------------

Mitch was more than shocked when him and Kirstie received another gift. This time it was a giant teddy bear. They couldn't find a note this time, but a gift couldn't of coincidentally appear at his house again. This was the fifth one, each having a note specifically towards one of them. They were both almost positive that the gifts were for Mitch, the notes started because more obvious towards him.

He had texted everyone that could've sent him them. Zach said no, along with Zip. He even went the extremes of asking Avi and Kevin. He asked a few of his ex boyfriends, and then asked Scott. Everyone said no. He had no possible idea who sent them.

He stares at the bear before seeing a small slip of paper. He knew there would be another note, he just couldn't find it.

Surprises come soon.

Mitch didn't know whether to be scared of excited. A mystery boy telling him that surprises were coming?

He was more on the scared side, and honestly didn't know what to do. He quickly grabs his phone.

Mitch: I need your help...

Scotty boy: With?

Mitch: A guy keeps sending me gifts with notes in them and the most recent one said: surprises come soon. I am really scared because I texted everyone I know that is gay and none of them sent it. Should I call the police?

Scotty boy: I would wait it out a little, make sure Kirstie knows so if she sees anything suspicious then maybe. I don't think it's anything but some guy trying to impress you.

Mitch: You're okay with someone doing that?

Scotty boy: Hell no. If I ever see them when I come to LA, I'll talk to them.
