I write stuff and depress myself, like this chapter 😅(and others coming very very #soon)
"Mitch, did you eat today?" Scott asks when returning home from another day of job searching. The small boy nods, making Scott smile.
Scott hadn't been home all day. He left when Mitch was asleep and was now returning for dinner. He trusted Mitch when he told him he ate, because Scott knew he was getting better.
"Where is everyone?" Scott asks, sitting next to Mitch and throwing his arm around him.
"Kirs-Kirstie." Scott furrows his eyebrows. Scott leans over and pecks Mitch quickly.
"What about Kirstie?" He asks, because Kirstie's name didn't explain where everyone had disappeared too.
"Took th-them out." Scott raises his eyebrows and smirks.
"So no one is home?" Mitch shakes his head, turning and crawling onto Scott so he was straddling him. Scott reaches and holds his hips, leaning forward to kiss him.
But Mitch stops, and he just plays with the bottom of Scott's shirt. Scott couldn't speak, only look at the gorgeous boy in front of him.
Mitch lifts Scott's shirt off on a quick and unexpected motion. The small boy bites his lip, looking at Scott's chest.
He runs his tiny hands up it, making sure to feel every little detail in the small six pack.
"Lucky." He says. "I'm lucky." Scott smiles, really wanting to kiss Mitch.
And that wish is granted when Mitch leans forward, coming centimeters from the blondes face-
"Again?!" Mitch springs off of Scott when the whole group was staring at them. One of them start to clap, and Mitch wasn't shocked when he saw Zip clapping like a mad man.
Scott awkwardly hops off the couch and helps grabs bags of food, Kirstie had brought dinner for everyone. He sets the bags on the counter as the group gathers around and grabs a plate.
Mitch kept his spot on the couch. Scott puts a few things on his plate before moving to sit next to him and nudging his shoulder. Mitch turns to him.
"Are you going to eat?" Mitch shakes his head. "We made a deal, Mitch."
"Already a-ate."
"You ate two meals?" Mitch nods. Scott smiles before eating the food he had placed on his plate.
The rest of the group takes their seats, Avi and Kevin at the counter, Zip at his spot on the couch, Kirstie retreating to her room, and Alex sitting on the floor by the couches.
"Scotty." Alex says, looking over to him. Mitch glared at him, and Scott rubs his thigh to let him know it was fine. "Come hug me."
"Yeah." Mitch says sarcastically. "Go." Scott sighs, but stands and hugs Alex when the other blonde stands.
"Don't get jealous, Mitchell."
"Alex, stop."
"Why?"
"Because he would go off on you right now if he could talk, and it isn't fair if he can't say anything back to you."
"Life isn't fair, Scott." Scott turns to go back to his seat, but instead sees Mitch right as he was disappearing into Scott's room, as he didn't want to be in the same place as Alex's stuff.
When Mitch walked in, he saw something he hadn't seen earlier. A small camera in the corner of the room. Mitch curiously picks it up and sees that it had been recording. He quickly turns it off and grows very nervous.
This camera had recorded him sleeping in past breakfast time, until almost 1:00. So he didn't actually eat breakfast. He skips through the video of him doing absolutely nothing, showing him stay in bed until almost 4:00, an hour before Scott got back.
This camera had recorded all of his lies to Scott, so he had to delete the film before anyone saw them.
The door opens, and Mitch hides the camera behind his back.
"What are you doing?" Scott asks. Mitch rapidly shakes his head.
"Nothing!" Scott walks over and grabs Mitch's arms, showing the camera.
"Why do you have my camera?"
"W-why were you re-recor...ding me?" Scott sighs, making sure he didn't let Mitch know he was recording to make sure Mitch did eat, he had a few cameras set up.
"I wasn't." Mitch looks at a Scott sternly, because it was obvious that Mitch knew otherwise.
"Why?" He asks, a harsh tone in his voice.
"It was for me to check if any one snuck in or anything. Why? Do you have something to hide, Mitch?"
"N-no."
"Then give me my camera." Mitch shakes his head. "Mitch, give it too me."
"De...lete."
"No, it's mine."
"Your cam..ra, my priva-cy." Scott sighs before reaching and grabbing the camera from Mitch's hand. "S-stop!"
"What are you hiding from me! Did you bring some guy home or break something of mine? Why is it a big deal!"
"Because!"
"Stop lying to me." Mitch shakes his head and storms out of the door.
Scott groans and sets the camera down, making a note to watch it later. The blonde looks around the room, regretting ever putting the camera here anyway.
He wanted to know if Mitch actually ate, but wasn't even going to check it when Mitch had said he ate. Because Scott trusted Mitch's words.
Scott didn't want to believe that Mitch had no problem lying to his face, and he was hoping that the recording would prove him wrong. He wanted to see Mitch eating and enjoying it, not the complete opposite.
Scott lays on the bed in frustration, yelping when he sat on something that wasn't a mattress. He gets up, lifting the covers off of the bed to reveal a small bottle.
He curiously picks them up, he had never seen them before. He raises an eyebrow before reading the back of the bottle.
The side affects included: weight loss, nauseous, loss of appetite.
And that's when Scott lost it. He ran out of the room and pulls Mitch into the kitchen, grabbing his food processor.
"Mitch, what the fuck are these?!" Mitch sighs, the whole room of people staring at him. "Are you serious?!"
"Stop."
"No! This is insane! I am getting rid of them!"
"No!" Scott was so angry. He opens the bottle and dumps them into the food processor and turns it on, watching as the pills turn into powder. "Stop!"
Scott stops it, Mitch trying to grab it.
"G-give it back!" But Scott poured the powder down the sink with some water, starting the garbage disposal. And just like that, the pills were gone. "F-fuck you!" Mitch screams.
Mitch slaps Scott's cheek, leaving a bright red hand mark on the side of his face. He turns around, tears falling down his face and saw the stares of everyone in the apartment. He embarrassingly runs into his room and locks the door, making sure to not come out until Scott was far away.
