Definitely listen to the song, above.
I guess we should have been shocked over this piece of information but we weren't. I kind of saw it coming. What we didn't know was, how were they finally divorcing? Divyam was too possessive of Anidhi to let her go and Anidhi was dependent on Divyam for so many things ( and she was having his triplets!), to even think of separating.
But this wasn't the right time to ask this.
"Oh, you guys! This place looks fantastic!" Anidhi commented, taking in the surroundings and acting like she did not just tell us about her divorce. She had a huge smile on and she was going about talking to everyone and apologizing for being late.
"So, we are going to to do this, huh?" Sanya piped in.
"Do what?"
"Act like nothing has happened?"
I did not know what to say. Divorce or not, she was having three babies and she had every right to enjoy her baby shower. So, I held Sanya's hand and we decided to let go and host the party.

Anidhi was opening her presents when someone joined us in our garden party.
"Shivam!" I said with a huge smile. He gave me a hug and snaked his arm around my waist.
"Arvind told me about some cake situation. I talked to a friend who has his own bakery and got this." He pointed to a bag in his arm which had a huge box. "He is really good. You girls will like it."
"That is so nice of you. Thank you!"
"Umm, Nehal?" Sanya called me.
"Yeah?"
"Arvind is back!" And she pointed towards the corner where Arvind was standing with a box in his hands.
"What are you men doing here?" Anidhi asked. "Are those my presents?"
**6 hours later**
"I will survive.." Anidhi sang. All the guests were gone, all the games were done. Now only people left were her, me, Shivam, Arvind, Sanya and Kapil. When I told him about the cake disaster we had, Kapil also made some calls to get us a cake. To my surprise, he came over with the cake.
But too much sugar was not good for Anidhi. She acted like she is completely normal, but after a lot of sugar loading she was now singing and forced us to watch her performance.
"I am hungry," Sanya said and got up. I pulled her hand and forced her to sit down again.
"Hey, if I am not going through this alone!" She sighed and sat back down. Arvind was making a video and Kapil was making funny expressions towards me. Shivam was busy on his phone.
"At first, I was petrified. Kept thinking I could never live without you by my side.." Anidhi continued.
"Hey, how many times have we gone through this?" Sanya asked. "Gone through what?"
"A guy breaking our hearts and us thinking we won't ever get over him?"
She had a point. We gave each other a look before we got up and joined Anidhi. Kapil started clapping and Arvind laughed. Shivam was watching me with a grin on his face.
And so the crazy trio sang. "But then I spent so may nights, thinking how you did me wrong!" ...... We sang at the top of our lungs. We were probably annoying all the neighbours but it felt good. Sanya was right. We all have gone through this at least once. And we knew, Anidhi was going to survive. She was going to be great. There was no stopping it. She had finally made a decision and now she will live upto it.
At night, I joined Shivam in his apartment.
"Crazy day?" He asked while flopping down on the bed.
"Yeah!" I said while coming out of his bathroom where I had gone to change. "It was crazy."
"Who was that guy though? The one who kept looking at you?" I think I could be mistaken but there was a hint of jealousy in his tone.
"Kapil? Oh, yeah. He used to live in my complex only. Shifted a long time back, we just met a few days ago. Isn't he great?"
"Yeah. He is."
"Are you jealous?"
"Of course not, baby!"
"Sure?" I asked teasingly.
"Yes, I am sure!"
"Great then." And I joined him on the bed to kiss him long and deep.
"You know, I am really tired today Nehal. Do you mind if I go to sleep?" I pulled back with shock because of his words. But then I thought, he has been working crazy all week, so he really might be tired.
"No, I don't." He kissed me on my forehead and rolled over to sleep. I got my laptop and decided to update my blog. It was really a tiring day but a good one. It was going to make an interesting blog.
10 minutes later, I got an instant message.
Hotguy: You have one crazy friend.
Writeitloveit: Hot guy? Love yourself much?
Hotguy: I speak the truth.
Writeitloveit: Nobody asked you for your thoughts on your looks.
Hotguy: They don't need to. Isn't it obvious?
Writeitloveit: You are a narcissist Kapil.
Hotguy: What are you doing?
Writeitloveit: Working on my blog.
Hotguy: Sweet. Can I see?
Writeitloveit: It is kind of confidential.
Hotguy: Come on.
Writeitloveit: I can't.
Hotguy: Well, okay. You hurt me. Now you got to do something to make up.
I laughed. What is with him?
Writeitloveit: Sure, what?
Hotguy: Have brunch with me tomorrow.
I felt like the air in the room disappeared. Was he asking me out on a date? He knows I have a boyfriend. How can he?
Hotguy: Slept?
....
..
Relax. I need your help.
Writeitloveit: Oh, what help?
Hotguy: I want to write a letter to my mother on her birthday. I am horrible with words. It would be awesome if I get a writer to help me do it.
Writeitloveit: A letter? That sounds great!
Hotguy: So are you in?
Writeitloveit: Sure. Why not.
Hotguy: Cool. I will pick you from your place at sharp 11:30. Okay?
Writeitloveit: Haha, okay.
Hotguy: Good night writer. :)
Writeitloveit: Good night, hot guy.
Hotguy: So you agree I am hot?
Writeitloveit: Sleep already!
Hotguy: Good night, beautiful.
