what happened?

so to speak, it didn't happen as of right now, but something did happen. something so cruel and upsetting that she had another thought of suicide. it's over, selena kept repeating in her head, what's the point?

selena didn't respond, because no matter how many times she repeats the same thing over, putting on a mask, justin sees right through it all. maybe that's what selena liked about him, or maybe that's why she hated him at times.
before selena could even press down the home button, there was a call going through to selena's phone. it was justin that was calling. 'decline' selena tapped, locking her phone immediately. another call went through to selena's phone again, but this time it was a facetime call. she answered that. she thought if she smiled into the camera, chuckling at some bits, he'll see that she's fine, so no need to be anxious about her. or so she thought.

"you're okay?" justin asks selena one last time – even though it was the millionth time he had.
"yes, justin!" selena laughs her best.
"justin!" a girl screeches into the same room justin is in, where he so happens to be laying topless and wearing glasses – he obviously wasn't anywhere special, he was at the hotel, so why was there a girl?
"oh – er – selena, i'll call you back." and by that, the call ended. and as the call ended, selena felt worse than she was before the phone call.
