"you do?" justin croaked, raising his eyebrows in shock. selena nodded her head in response, taking large gulps of air to stop her stomach swarming in butterflies. justin's soft, pink lips slowly formed into a heartwarming smile that met his eyes. but then, abruptly, his beautiful smile turned into a frown.

"why didn't you tell me before?" he uttered, feeling dejected at the fact she lied which led him to so much distress.

"i thought you was dating hailey," selena says, her heartbeat racing.

"so what if i was?" he hissed, anger slowly rising in him. his sorrow turns into rage. "do you realise how much you hurt me?"

before he could continue on with his rant, selena interrupts him, "i thought i was protecting a relationship! justin, you can't accuse me of whatever when in public – knowing millions are watching you – you're hugging and flirting with a girl!"

"flirting?" justin narrows his eyes and furrows his brows. "i – i don't flirt with her," he stammers in his rage and confusion.

selena scoffs at this. "whatever," she huffs.

"no, no! tell me, selena! what am i doing wrong?" justin questions.

"for starters, cuddling up with someone when you apparently like me!" selena screams sarcastically.

"oh, oh," justin drags the word out, as if figuring something out. "is that why you didn't say anything last time? because you're jealous of what we could be?"

silence lingers in the air as selena comprehends what he said. and once she does, she couldn't deny the fact that she in fact was jealous when she saw the photos.

"no," she finally says though it comes out as a whimper. she swallows down the lump in her dessert-like throat.

however, this causes justin to smirk pleasantly.

"say it again," he moves closer to her, whispering in a teasing tone, "and mean it."

she gulps now, desperate for water she could salvage. he continues to smirk at her, moving closer with every step he took. he knew how much power he had over her; he knew that she wouldn't be able to say 'no' and actually mean it; he knew, for sure, she liked him, and that gave him the power.

now he was standing directly in front of her, to the point where he could feel her hot, heavy breathing on his cool skin. then she bites her lip inattentively, and this, this causes his stomach to flip and his man-features to groan.

"say it," he teases, leaning more closer to her flushed face. she squeezes her eyes shut, and tries to focus on her breathing to clam herself down. she absolutely cannot have a panic attack, especially right now.

"go on," his soft voice that was whispered into her ear shoots shivers down her spine.

she feebly breathes out a shaky breath, preparing herself to look at him again and his teasing smirk. she's met with his warm honey eyes, and suddenly everything disappears. everything except them.

it was as if time stopped, and they was the only ones left moving. as if it was only them in the entire universe. her heartbeat slows down whilst her stomach continues to be swarmed by the butterflies that always erupted whenever around him.

and she loved the feeling. she loved feeling alive and flushed, hot and intoxicated like nothing else matters. she loved the feeling that came along with justin. she loved not feeling empty anymore when with him.

this was what drives her crazy about him.

slowly, with justin leaning in to selena, she felt his lips on hers. it was almost like she could feel his feels; pleasure and desire raced between them, connecting them, drawing them closer. sensation ripped through her like waves on a still, clear pond. she was drowning in it, both the joy she sensed in justin and the delicious answering surge in herself.

justin deepens the kiss in a passionate way, lighting every dark place in her soul like the sun.

he drew back slowly, and they looked into each other's eyes with wondering joy. they did not speak; there was no need for words.
