selena was overwhelmed, especially with the fact that justin and hailey was all over the internet. they were inseparable. always posting on their instagram, twitter or snapchat; they just wouldn't stop. and then the media kept on posting about it, the headlines always along the line of "is justin bieber dating hailey baldwin?"
even when she didn't touch her phone because of this matter, it would come on her favourite channel, 'E!'.
she was always fighting in her mind. she began to think of reasons why who justin is dating mattered so much to her, but all her mind could think of was "what if i like him?" it was making her crazy; she didn't like thinking of this reason simply because she was scared of the consequences.
if justin was truly dating hailey, how would he react if selena ever told him how she feels towards him? she couldn't think of an answer, so thinking of the only solution she had at the moment, she decided with herself that she will not tell justin. she wasn't one to ruin relationships.
