justin and selena always continued to love each other even after the long separation.
their love was unconditional.
no matter how many times they tried to pep talk themselves and say they've moved on, they simply hadn't.
even the fans knew.
the years grew as justin and selena did. now that they had time to wholeheartedly focus on themselves and do what's right, they matured and became stronger.
thinking back, selena thinks it's ridiculous and pathetic of her to rely on justin and think he's the only reason to live, but furthermore she proved her young self wrong and found her own purpose to living. but even now she knew she wouldn't be who she is now without him.
albums finally departed and sold worldwide with selena's revival and justin's purpose, each successive. both had found their own way, as if this were their happily ever after.
still, they were glad they found their way back to each other after the first separation. they were happy they had their story to revisit and memorise on with a smile upon their lips.
after all this time, they found happiness by themselves with thanks to each other.
so... maybe this was their happily ever after. who knows what the future can hold?
