When I got to school the next day, the whole class was acting strange. They whispered to each other, shooting me weird and hateful glances.

We began without incident, until one of the kids raised their hand, setting down their trumpet.

"Yes?" I called on them.

"Um... some of us... um... we saw you yelling at Bob and Wade the other day... and well... Matt and Ryan haven't been talking to you. Are you hurting them?" He stammered, obviously scared. "Are you abusing them, and that's why they won't talk to you?"

I almost stumbled back in shock.

"What? No! Absolutely not."

"Prove it!" One of the kids yelled. "What's going on then?"

"Wade, Bob. Is he?" The students accused me, and pestered Bob and Wade. Like the good boys they are, they kept quiet about my little secret.

"No... uh... he's not. He's not."

"You don't have to protect him."

"He's not hurting anyone -"

"Tell the truth guys. We won't let him hurt you anymore."

"ENOUGH!" I yelled. The class fell silent.

The only way out of this was to tell the secret I've kept hidden for so long.
