What else did you expect from me? I'm the grenade guy - Bruno Mars

The vibe was so incredible here. We were actually in the V.I.P. area, I guess that's what you get when you're in the company of Bruno Mars.

Weirdly enough, he seemed fine, I didn't get to ask him about what happened with Amelia, no one else did, well not around me anyway. I didn't even know if it was my place to ask, since we've just become 'friends'.

He was talking animatedly with Fara, Kenneth and Trevor; they were all laughing at something he said so I doubted they were talking about his fight with Amelia.

Bruno was smiling, I don't think I've seen him frowning at all this evening, which left me feeling so perplexed. But I guess it wasn't my business, I chanted that in my head as I took another of my glorious Vodka Tonic, it was honestly the best I've ever had. Maybe I should quit my jobs, move here and work at this club. They can pay me in Vodka Tonics.

"You've been staring at me all night." Bruno said as took a seat next to me at our table booth. My eyes caught sight of the unlit cigarette resting behind his ear, I wanted to take it. "No, don't blush, its fine. I'm used to women staring at me...excessively"

Shit, I thought I was being all stealthy. "It was not excessively" I say coyly stirring my drink with the straw I had neglected to use.

"So you admit you were staring at me?"

"...shut up" I giggle and nearly lose my balance on my seat as I sway.

Bruno sat up on his seat properly gazing at my face, tilting his head to the side in thought. "Ooo, drunk Valentina" He stated with a grin breaking out on his face. Oh my God his teeth are so white, brighter than my future. Bruno. took my drink gently from my hands and took a sip out the straw. He cleared his throat. "How many of these have you had?"

"Only like...three." I put up all my fingers showing three drinks.

"Yeah..." Bruno gave me a weird look as he grabbed my hand putting down two of my fingers, now three fingers were up.

"....oh" I giggle putting my hand down, his still on top of mine. "Math was never my strong point...I'm a writer, duh"

Wait, was I really a writer though? I was a bartender and a personal latte getter...God, my life sucks.

"I know, right? Basic math always got me in high school; I still can't believe I passed..."

"You're mocking me..." I pout.

"Hurts when you're on the receiving end of it, doesn't it?" Bruno smiled a closed mouth smile never breaking my gaze. I nodded in response, resting my head on top of his hand which was still on top of mine, I liked the feel of his hand in mine. I stare at the buttons on the shirt he changed into after we all came back from shopping in the bay.

"...what are we doing, Tina?" Bruno spoke softly ending in a sigh. My gaze lifted from his buttons to his brown eyes illuminated by the the strobe lights; he bit his lip looking at me, waiting for me to speak.

"...what?" I asked sat up. I tried to give him my full attention, but the music was blaring awfully loud and my thoughts were starting to jumble from the mixture of Bruno and the alcohol in my system

"You and me...this..."

I was kind of tipsy so I was finding it hard to comprehend what the hell was going on. I did the classic signs of a person listening, something I did whenever Bridgette spoke at me: I nodded my head, hmm-ing and ah-ing when necessary as his lips moved and sound came out but I was drifting into the deepness of his eyes.
