"Okay, have I told you how AWESOME you are, Tina? Because you're pretty awesome." Kendra said to me.

I will never get tired of the constant praise my friends have been giving me since I told them that Bruno Mars had personally given me backstage passes for a one-off concert here in LA three days ago.

It was Kendra's turn to suck up to me, I was fixing my mascara in the mirror at Raye's house with the rest of the girls getting ready. It was hot outside earlier so at work I put my hair into a high messy bun, I had been convinced to leave it like that for the concert, the sexy dishevelled look was apparently in fashion according to Raye.

"Not in quite a bit" I goaded Kendra answering her question.

"You're awesome for bagging these passes. What did you have to do to get these?" She asked. "Go down on Mr. Mars? Catch him and Bitchy Bridgey in a compromising position?"

I had to stop what I was doing to look at her. "That is so disgusting" I screwed my face up at the thought of him and Bridgette in a compromising position. "That's gonna give me nightmares for months."

It was kind of weird to walk up to THE Silent Sparks Venue and not have to wait in a long ass cue. Just walking to the front of it and showing our badges, it was like flashing a crown made of diamonds and unicorn fur, it was so damn powerful.

The place was crowded with Bruno Mars fans, the atmosphere was electric, exciting and from what I had heard around the grapevine he hadn't done a concert in a while. Apparently he had mentioned this surprise concert on a radio station after leaving Mode buildings and it was sold out in like ten minutes.

Insane.

"To the bar we go!" Kendra took the lead; it was nice to be on the other end of a bar for once.

"LA, say a special hello to...Bruno Mars!" An announcer's voice boomed from God knows where and the crowd went wild, and when I say wild...I mean scary wild. If I had come alone I was pretty sure I'd run away back home the way these fans were screaming and jumping like someone was throwing hundred dollar bills at them.

"WOOOOOO!" My friends cheered and I clapped looking at them amused. They're such fan girls, it's cute.

I turned to the stage at the front to see Bruno walk up on stage lapping up the applause with a electric guitar strapped on him. He had on a fedora, a sleeveless jean jacket and jeans paired with black converses, casual cool.

"WHAT'S UP LA?! HOW YOU DOING?" Bruno spoke into the microphone, you could tell he was pumped, it was hard not to with a crowd like this.

The replies he got back couldn't be deciphered and he smiled at that before turning away from the mcrophone and saying something to a male backing singer. From the way they were interacting they seemed pretty close.

"I know, I know, it's been a while, hasn't it?!"

More cheers for answers and I took a steady sip from my beer watching the whole thing from the bar backstage.

"But we were just working on album number two!"

I swear I'll go deaf from these cheers.

"We just missed being on stage and performing to you guys so we just had to do another concert for you hooligans!"

Wait what? Hooligans?

"What he calls his fans, it comes from his album's name. " Fara shouted into my ear, my confusion must have been obvious.
