The next generation- where we go from here

Rafting

A/n: so this takes place the June after Fitch and Pistol are born. And they're ALL going rafting, that includes Nick, Christiana, Vinnie and Evie. And when I say all those healthy enough or don't have a six and seven month a baby. Marlee and Carter are also on this vacation.

Dimitri pov
We were in Carolina, it had been a while since I'd been on a lengthy vacation. And with my family made it better.

Levi was asleep on my chest. Nikki wasn't in bed, yet Duck, yes Levi named his puppy Duck, was out of his cage and chewing on my prosthetics. Jupiter was laying at the foot of the bed, he lifted his head then Laid his head back down.

Nikki came back into the room. "Hey," I whispered not wanting to wake Levi. "Good morning." Nikki said. She came over and gave me a kiss. "How's our baby boy?" Nikki asked as she stroked Levi's hair. Levi lifted his head. "Go back to sleep buddy." I whispered. I laid him next to me. And put pillows around him. I saved my prosthetics from Duck and got up. "Evie made Coffee, it's downstairs." She said.

We had rented two houses, on top of the mountain, they were next to each other. We were never too far from each other. It was interesting considering two infants were staying in the same house. Not everyone was getting the sleep they needed. So we had to be one step ahead of the infants, so the toddlers, preteen, and other adults could sleep.

"Did Fitch eat?" I asked, just out of plain curiosity. Nikki had been breastfeeding Fitch since he was born. "He did, I also prepared his bottle for later. Let's hope he doesn't need Two bottles while We're rafting." Nikki said.

We went out on the balcony so Levi could keep sleeping. "Well Diana will be with Nevaeh and Ma so. If he needs another meal, Diana most-likely won't object." I said. "She won't. I'm wondering if taking Duck would be a good idea." Nikki said.

Being true to Duck's name he loved to swim. So taking him to a quick moving River was worrying.  Pa would definitely help keep an eye on our pets and children, while we were rafting.

Nikki and I crept back through our room, not wanting to wake Levi. Jupiter jumped off the bed, he and Duck followed us out of the room. "Morning." Evie sang, she had the Rent soundtrack playing as she, Vinnie, Christiana and Nick prepared breakfast. "Is Rent really the thing our children's young minds need to be exposed to?" I asked as I walked down the stairs.

"Don't question it, we all love Rent." Evie said. "Can't Argue with that." I said. Nikki stepped over the baby gate then opened it for me. I didn't trust my self with it. Duck and Jupiter walked through the gate and I followed. Haven, Bella, and Lilly were siting on the floor. Paint was with Haven.

"What's for breakfast?" I asked as I sat at the bar. "Pancakes." Evie said. "They may be burned." Nick said. "No they are not." Evie said. "Remember there are children still sleeping." Nikki said. Serenity came out of her room, that was right off the kitchen. "Can you be any louder?" She asked. Her hair was a mess. She tried to escape back into her room but I grabbed her and held her captive in my arms. "No let me go." She said. "No," I said. "Nikki make him let me go." Serenity pleaded to Nikki. "I'm sorry, but I think Dimitri can make his own decisions." Nikki said. "Nevaeh! Help me!" Serenity practically yelled in my ear. "What!" Nevaeh yelled. "Tell Dimi to let me go." She wined. "Hey wake Levi up while your up there." I said. "Ugh," Nevaeh said as she went into my and Nikki's room. Nevaeh came out of my room with Levi. "Look mommy and daddy are awake." Nevaeh brought Levi downstairs. And handed him Over to Nikki. "Now release me." Serenity said. "Levi, should Daddy let Aunt Serenity go?" I asked. "Ya," Levi said tiredly. "He has spoken," I said as I let Serenity go. "I hate you so much. " Serenity said. "I love you too." I said. Serenity hit me. Before she went over and sat down on the couch. She turned the tv on, and started flipping. Sage and Diana came down with Pistol.
