Evie pov Vinnie and I were getting ready for the Oscars. "I can't believe your going to the Oscars. We've dreamed of this since we were little." Nevaeh said. "I know, it's nerve racking." I said. As my maids did my makeup. A knock came at the door. "Come in," I called. Nikki came in. "Oh great you're not finished getting ready. I can't believe your going to the Oscars." Nikki said. "That's what I just said." Nevaeh said. Jessie brought my jewelry and tiara out. I put the Diamond studs in, and the els rant Diamond necklace, that went with the tiara. I put it on my head, and Jessie did the clasp on the back.

"You look stunning. Tomorrow you'll be all the rage of all the fashion magazines." Nikki said. "I hope it doesn't last long. I'd hate to steal the Queen's spotlight." I teased. Emily came in with my dress. She's been washing it. I got up And Emily unzipped the bag and took the dress out and handed it to Jessie, Jessie unzipped the dress and I slipped into it. "You look amazing." Nevaeh said as Jessie zipped the dress.

Another knock came at the door. Emily went and opened the door. Vinnie came In with Haven in his arms. "You look stunning." Vinnie said. "Mommy," Haven squealed. He came over and kissed my cheek. "Thank you." I said as I took Haven. "Are you going to behave tonight, for Aunt Nevy?" I asked Haven. "Ya," She said. "Alright, well we better get going." Vinnie said. Nevaeh took Haven from me. Jessie brought my heels out. "I glued the heal back on. It should be able to hold for the night." Jessie said. "Alright." I said as I put them on. I took Vinnie's arm and we left.
We got to the Kodak Theater. Vinnie got out first, then helped me out. Camera's were flashing. "Is my glass eye in place?" I asked. Vinnie looked me in the eye. "It's in place." Vinnie said.
We took so many pictures. I looked ahead and saw a girl about nine. She glanced over to me and her eyes light up. I smiled at her. She came over to Vinnie and I. She curtsied. "You don't have to do that." I said. "It's an honor to meet you." The girl said. "And I, you." I said as I shook her hand. "Can I have a hug?" She asked. I nodded. I crouched down so I could hug her. "I'm Quvenzhané Wallis." "Your nominated for best actress tonight, right?" I asked. "I am." "Well I wish you good luck. I wish I was nominated for best actress." I said. "Maybe next time." Quvenzhané said. "Maybe. I wish you a prosperous acting career." I said as I stood up and took my small notepad out, with a sharpie. "If you are ever in New Waverly City. Give me a call. I'd love to meet up with you for lunch." I said as I wrote my work cell phone number down. I gave her the paper. She smiled and put it in her purse. We posed for a few photos. Then we had to continue down the red carpet.
