Dimitri pov
I was still sick. I hadn't seen my wife or children in about two weeks. I'd write them letters. But other than that. I had no physical contact with them.

I woke up, it was Christmas morning. I sat up and went to the bathroom. Dr. Presley came in, as I came out of the bathroom. "How do you feel Your Majesty? Your looking better?" She said. "I still feel the same." I said as I held onto the doorway. "Nikki wanted to give you this." She handed me a paper. It was Nikki's handwriting , but signed Maggie.

'Dear Santa,
This year for Christmas, I want my Daddy to be better. If not that, let me be able to see him. I miss him a lot. Mommy, Levi, Mav and I all miss him. Please Santa, I just want my daddy.
Sincerely,
Princess Margret of Illea.'

"Thank you, is there anyway I could visit them?" I asked.

"Wear this mask, don't take it off and don't over do it and Merry Christmas Dimitri." She smiled.

"Thank you. Dr. Presley." I said.

"Your welcome. Keep your IV in, you still need it." I took the mask from her and put it on.

I adjusted it so it covered my nose and mouth. Dr. Presley left. I grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around myself.

I walked down the hallways, pushing my IV stand. Zeus was following me. I went into the Christmas parlor.

"Daddy!" Maggie yelled.

Everyone looked at me as she ran over and hugged me. I crouched down and hugged her.

"Santa gave me this, and told me you missed me. I missed you too, sweetie." I said as I showed her her letter to Santa.

She smiled. I held her hand and went over to a couch.

Nick and his family were here.

"Hey the refugees finally arrived." I said.

"Thankfully." Ella said.

I sat down and put my arm around Nikki, and kissed her cheek through the medical mask. She wrapped her arms around me.

"I missed you so much. Your job is so hard." She said.

"I missed you too. You know you don't have to do it." I said.

"But it's the right thing to do." She said.

Lev and Mav were pulling on my pj pants. I picked them up so I had all three of my children in my lap.

"Did you get our drawings?" Levi asked.

"I did, did Mommy read you my letters?" I asked.

"Mommy let me read mine all by myself." Levi said.

"That's great buddy." I said.

"Alright you three, come open your presents." Dad said.

Mav and Levi got it, yet Maggie stayed in my lap.

"Go on sweetie, go open your presents." I said.

"I have my present." She said as she hugged me.
