I sat at the counter and made some coffee since the hot cocoa wasn’t helping…I heard a knock at the door and stared at the counter and I yelled “come in its open!” I kept staring at the counter and i felt arms wrap around my waist.

“hey Ree..” a voice whispered in my ear and I untensed at hearing justins voice in my ear he lightly rubbed my sides and I smiled at that and couldn’t help but lean back against him. “is that coffee?” he asked excitedly and I laughed a bit handing the mug over to him it has vanilla and hazelnut creamer in it.

“here..” I said and he took a long drink of it and I took it back after he was done an finished it up.

“so…whats wrong you sounded upset when you said ‘come in’” he said sighing a bit and I bit my lower lip.

“my dads going back over seas today he-“ I started when my dad cut in and I sighed a biit.

“justin could you come here..” he asked nicely and justin kissed me softly going in with my dad as chaz, and ryan came in and ran upstairs at my gesture. I heard squeals of surprise and laughter from upstairs which I set my mug down going upstairs leaning against the door way as the girls and their guys sat down chatting.

“hey..were going ice skating want to come?” Chaz asked and I shook my head in a no fashion.

“my dads leaving for Iraq today..i wont be able to..” I said sighing a bit they nodded and the girls left with the boys for home and I sighed changing into a pair of flare jeans, and a long sleeve purple shirt and brushed my hair and teeth.

“hey..” justin said as I reached for my Abercrombie hoodie and slid it on grabbing some ankle socks that don’t match.

“hey..” I said slowly and I looked over at him with a smile and sat on my bed putting my fuzzy ballet flat slippers. “we need to talk..” I said slowly and justin looked at me worry clear on his face “its not bad trust me” I said with a smile and he relaxed a bit not a lot but a bit and he leaned against the headboard and I crawled over to him.

I sat in between his legs and grabbed his hand playing with his fingers that have callouses from playing guitar so much. “so whats up?” he asked kissing my cheek and I grinned despite everything.

“well..i wanted to ask you…your thoughts…on…well..” I said blushing a bit..well that was a lie..i blushed heavily. “sex..” I finished sounding calm though my heart was pounding in my chest waiting for a response.

“what brought this on?” he asked curiously playing with my fingers as well and I smiled a bit and told him the truth.

“Emily and lilly…we talked about it last night…” I said shrugging and justin laughed a bit.

“was that why you were staring at me so hard at the bowling alley and practically drooling” he said laughing a bit and I elbowed his stomach sighing.

“justin..you did the same at the bowling alley..dont think I didn’t notice your blush” I said smirking and he sighed a bit leaning back.

“yeah I did…well..i don’t know..i think were doing fine and can wait…until..” he said and he stopped suddenly and tensed up a bit.

“until..” I hedged a bit and he sighed pushing me forward I turned and faced him confused at this sudden change.

“well..i was going to wait until valentines day..but I got you something..” he said reaching into his jacket and pulling it out looking at the purple velvet box.

“what is it?” I asked curiously and he opened it showing me what was inside I couldn’t help it..i gasped.. “oh justin its beautiful!” I said chipperly and justin grinned at me.
