Dear Diary,
This week the Olympic Team gets a break. I am so happy to get a break because we are training constantly and we rarely get breaks. I spent my day in this meadow. I don't know know what it's called but I got off at this isolated place with a forest behind it. There's some houses but it's open lands after that.
The meadow was just beautiful. The grass was tall but not itchy. There were patches of dry grass that yellowed against the lime green. There were ponds here and there. Even though it's October, it wasn't that cold. In fact, it felt warm. The sky was vast and amazingly blue. I spent ages lying down and letting the sun warm me. I could feel the cooling breeze and hear butterflies fluttering.
I let myself go. I don't think that I have ever felt so relaxed in my entire life. My life was filled with isolation and dreams that were just there. For once, my body didn't ache from stretching. Usually, I couldn't move in the mornings but today it was like I never did gymnastics. I felt better. It was so relaxing.
I went back to the studio right after 5pm. I took snapshots of the sunset with my phone.
