You were running down a long, dark corridor. You don't know why and you don't know where you were going but something told you to keep running, so you did. You heard footsteps get louder and louder behind you and you started to panic. You could see light at the end and you tried to run faster. Before you could reach the light, a hand reached out and grabbed your ankle. You screamed as you tripped and fell. You could feel the warmth of the light on your fingertips, you were so close. You felt yourself start to get dragged back into the darkness and you struggled to break free. You screamed and reached out, praying that somebody would save you. You awoke with a start and you grabbed the sheets around you. You looked around and turned a light on. You sighed and fell back onto the pillows as your panting slowly subsided. That was the third night you had that same nightmare. You got up and walked to the kitchen in the hotel suite you and the crew were staying in. You filled a glass with water and drank it in one go. You closed your eyes and tried to steady your racing heart. "(Y/N)?" You turned and saw your boyfriend of 5 months, Billy, walk out of his room. "I'm sorry, did I wake you up?" He shut the door quietly before walking over to you and leaning on the counter. "No you're fine. What's wrong?" You placed your cup in the sink. "I had another nightmare." You whispered softly. You heard him shuffle before he wrapped his arms around your waist. Nobody said anything, but it's not like you needed to. He trailed light kisses along your shoulder and up your neck.  You turned around and placed your head on his chest. "Billy, can you stay with me?" "Of course." He kissed your head before taking your hand and leading you back into your room. You crawled under the covers and scooted over so Billy could lay down. Once settled, you turned the light of and scooted closer to him. He pulled you close and wrapped an arm around your waist protectively. You placed your head over his heart and let the drum of his heart lull you to sleep. Before you fell asleep, you felt Billy lean down and kiss your forehead. "Good night, (Y/N). I love you and I'll always protect you."
