You smiled as you felt the warm rays of the sun hit your body. You were relaxing by the pool and just enjoying the weather. You fiddled with the ring on your left hand and felt your heart race at the memory of that night. Zak had proposed during an investigation and it was one of the greatest moments of your life. As you continued to reminisce on that moment, a shadow loomed over you and you felt yourself start to get a little chilly. You opened your eyes and saw Zak standing over you. "Good morning beautiful. Enjoying the weather?" He asked with a smirk. "I was enjoying it, until somebody started blocking the sun." He snickered and sat down in the lounge chair next to you. "What did you want to do today?" He asked as he sprawled out on the chair and you closed your eyes again. "Well we still need to figure out the date for the wedding, who we're inviting to the wedding, the theme, colors, which flowers, how we're getting the cake from, what kind of cake we want, the food-" "Okay, okay. So we need to start planning. Your brother called earlier and said he's coming over, maybe he can help with some of that?" You sighed and felt your shoulders tense a little at the thought of everything you have to do in the upcoming months. "Hey, relax (Y/N). It's going to be okay. We're in this together and I'm gonna try and help as much as I can." You said as he stood up and walked behind you. He kissed your cheek before going inside. You stretched and stood up before following him inside. You went upstairs and put on a pair of shorts a a t shirt before coming downstairs and seeing your brother, Aaron, laughing at something Zak had said. When he looked up, he saw you and immediately got up to give you a hug. "There's my baby sister! Oh man have you gotten shorter since the last time I saw you?" You punched his shoulder and smiled before walking into the dinning room. You pulled out the binder with all of the wedding pamphlets and ideas you had so far. The guys came in and sat down around the table and you started coming up with ideas. After what felt like hours of arguing, you and Zak decided on colors being black, white, and purple. "Well, this is a decent start." You mumbled as you ran your hands through your hair. They could tell you were starting to get stressed. "Hey Zak, do you mind if I talk to (Y/N) for a second?" He looked between the both of you before nodding silently and leaving the room. He scooted his chair closer to you and wrapped an arm around your shoulders. "Hey, hey. I know this is stressful but you have plenty of time before the actual wedding and you have friends who are more than willing to help you. Just take a deep breath and tell me what you need done." You looked at him and felt tears start to prick at your eyes. "Thanks, Aaron." You said and hugged him. He hugged you back and then called for Zak. He walked in and smiled at the sight. "Alright," you breathed and put your hair up. "let's get this over with." And with that, the three of you completed a few more things before Aaron had to leave. You got up and walked him to the door, where you gave him a hug. "Thank you so much for all of your help, Aaron. I really appreciate it." "Woah there, (Y/N). Don't get soft on me now." You both laughed. "But it's no big deal. I'm happy to help my baby sis any day, especially since it's planning the big day." He wiggles his eyebrows and you pushed him a little. "Yeah, yeah, yeah get going or you're going to be late." He waved before getting in his car and driving away. You closed the door and walked into the living room. You plopped down next to Zak and cuddled up to his side. "He really is a great brother." "Yeah, I know."
