Zak Bagans (Requested)

It was Zak's birthday today and you had agreed to surprise him today along with the help of Aaron and your cousin, Nick. However, you were in a bit of a... predicament. See you were a mermaid and although you were gifted with a necklace to help you walk on land, but that only lasted for 30 minutes at a time. You had devised a plan a few weeks ago and the guys agreed with it so here you were, sitting in a kiddy pool in the back of Aaron's SUV and anxiously waited for the moment you would be at Zak's house. "Alright Rose, we're here. We're gonna carry you out back and put you in the pool and then we'll go get Zak. You ready?" "I've been ready for 3 months now." They picked up the pool and quickly carried you to the back before dumping you in the pool. You splashed around a little trying to get adjusted to the water before swimming to the edge and propping yourself up. "I'm all set here! You guys can go ahead and get him." The guys waved before walking back around to the front of the house. You sighed and flipped your tail a little before you heard the sliding porch door  open. You whipped around and saw Zak standing in the doorway looking around. "Are they gone?" "Yeah. I thought you were at the museum! How did you get home?" He shut the door and walked over to you. "I took a taxi. I knew something was up and I had to make sure they didn't catch my house on fire. "Give me a second." You said before touching the shell necklace and feeling your tail split into two legs. You saw that your scales had now shaped themselves into shorts and your top was covered by a light blouse. You quickly got out of the pool and embraced him in a hug. "How have you been! It's been so long!" He chuckled and returned the embrace while burrowing his head in the crook of your neck. "I've been... busy. I missed you." You sighed and pulled back. "I missed you too." He gently grabbed your hand and led you inside. You both sit on the couch and try to catch up on everything you've missed. "Do they know? About us?" You shook your head and looked down at your lap. "We can tell them today. And once we tell them you can move in here, I mean the pool is big enough and we'd be able to spend more time together." You looked up at him and saw his eyes filled with hope and desperation. "Okay, okay we'll talk with him when they get back." He smiled and hugged you. You hugged him back and inhaled the scent of his cologne. You both pulled back and he pressed his lips on yours. You smiled and kissed back; you had waited 3 long months to do this again and you were enjoying every minute of it. "Well, looks like we interrupted something. Should we just come back?" You broke apart and saw Aaron trying to hold back a laugh and Nick standing in the doorway- fuming. "Nick, we were gonna tell you..." He scoffed. "I'm sure you were." "We were! We were gonna tell you today, we just didn't want you to get mad!" He sighed and rubbing his forehead. "Do you love him?" You're mouth opened in shock at the question. He looked at you expectantly. "Well? Do you love him?" "Y-yeah. Yeah I do love him." He looked over at Zak and asked the same question. "Do you love her?" He wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you close. "With everything in my body." He sighed and his expression softened. "If you do anything to hurt her, I will make your life miserable." He said while pointing a finger at him. "I would never do anything to hurt her." You smile and look between him and Nick. "Then it's settled. I'm assuming you'll want to move in with him now?" You nodded your head and giggled. "Okay. Then we have a few things to celebrate tonight." You giggled and kissed Zak. "Alright! Let's get this party started!" You heard Aaron yell before the sound of the refrigerator being opened. You felt your knees start to shake and you knew you had to get back in the pool. "Zak, I need to get back in the pool." He quickly picked you up and brought you out to the pool. He gently let you into the pool. "We'll bring the party outside. Just wait a second." He offered you a smile before running inside. The rest of the night was spent with laughs, stories, and just having a good time. Around midnight, the guys decided to head out. They said their goodbyes and left, leaving you and Zak. "I love you, Rose." You heard Zak whisper while wading his feet in the water. You smiled and held his hand. "I love you too, Zak."
