You had gotten back from an investigation last night and you were currently reviewing the audio and footage from last night. You were touching up one clip when you heard your phone go off. You looked down and saw an unknown number calling. You ignored it and went back to work when your phone goes off again. You look and see the unknown number again. You felt a chill go down your spine; over the past few months a guy had been spamming your social media pages and it was getting really annoying. You ignored it and stared at the screen, just waiting for it to go off again. You took a deep breath and chuckled a little at your paranoia. You were about to put your headphones back on when your phone goes off. You groan in frustration and answer it. "I'm not interested, you have the wrong number, stop calling me." You were about to hang up when you heard the person speak. "Wait don't hang up! I just want to talk." You rolled your eyes and put your phone back up to your ear. "Listen, if you're that guy that keeps spamming my social pages it needs to stop and I don't know how you got my number but delete it and don't try to call me again." "Don't be like that! Let me take you to dinner and then I'll show you I'm not bad." You scoffed. "I'm only going to say this once. I'm not interested. Don't call me again." And with that you hung up. You slammed your phone down on the table and ran a hand through your hair. You got up and walked into the kitchen to grab a water. You opened it and took a swig when the doorbell rang. You looked down at your watch and saw it was 10 p.m. The doorbell rang again and you slowly walked back to your office. You clicked on the video feed from your cameras and saw a guy standing on your porch with flowers. "(Y/N)! I know you're inside! Come on, open up!" You heard him yell as he knocked on the door. You grabbed your phone and dialed your boyfriend, Aaron's, number; he picked up on the second ring. "Hello?" "Aaron, listen very closely. There's a guy whose been stalking me for he past few months and he's at my house now. I can't get him to go away, please help." "(Y/N)! Who are you talking to? Open the door!" You heard him yell angrily. "(Y/N), go upstairs and lock yourself in your room. Don't turn on any lights and stay away from your windows. I'm on my way now." You nodded your head even though you knew he couldn't see you. You hung up the phone and slowly walked up the stairs and sat on the floor in the middle of your room. You heard a car pull up and the knocking stopped. You crawled to the window and pulled the curtain aside to look outside. You saw Aaron was easily a foot taller than your stalker and he was pretty pissed. He shoved the guy towards his car and started yelling at him. You sighed in relief as the car drove off down the street and Aaron walked towards your door. You got up and ran to the top of the stairs to see Aaron letting himself in with his own key. You ran down the stairs and tackled him in a hug. He fell back against the door but regained his balanced and hugged you back. You wrapped your legs around his waist and hung on for dear life. He rubbed your back and walked into the living room with you clinging to him. He sat down and you readjusted yourself so you were on his lap and he rubbed your back. "I'm sorry." You whispered. "You don't have anything to be sorry for." "I should have told you earlier. I didn't think it was a big deal, but I guess I was wrong. I don't even know how he got my number let alone my address." He pulled back and looked into your eyes. "(Y/N), seriously you have nothing to worry about. We'll go down to the police station and get a restraining order on the guy, okay?" You nodded your head and cuddled into his chest. "Will you stay with me?" You asked softly. He chuckled before kissing the top of your head. "Of course I will." He stood up and turned all the lights off before grabbing your hand and leading you upstairs.
