You took a sip of your tea and sighed as you scrolled through The GAC twitter feed. You were mainly the crew's media guru, but you also set up lockdowns and did research on those locations. A shadow stretched across your phone screen and you looked up to see your cousin, Jay, taking a seat next to you. "Hey Jay, is nerve set up?" You asked as you looked at the computer monitor in front of you and all the wires and what not scattered around the table. He leaned back and stretched his legs. "Yeah, just waiting on Zak to get back so we can get everyone geared up." You heard footsteps walk your way and you turned to see Zak standing in the doorway. Speak of the devil, you thought before turning back to your phone. "Hey Jay, Aaron told me he needed your help with something over by the car." Jay shrugged and stood up before walking out. Zak took the now empty chair and looked at you eagerly. "Hey (Y/N), I was wondering if maybe you'd want to go grab some dinner sometime?" You sighed and rubbed your temples. Aaron and Zak had been fighting over you for the past two weeks and it was starting to really piss you off. "Look Zak, you're a sweet guy but I'm not interested. I'm already taken, so please don't waste your time on me anymore. And I mean that in the nicest way possible, we can still be friends though." You said while looking at him. His smile slowly faded before he cleared his throat and stood up. "Yeah, I totally understand. Sorry for bugging you, I'd really like to be friends." You gave him a week smile before turning back to your phone. You heard him walk out and you sighed in relief. A few minutes later, you heard footsteps and when you looked up you were glad to see Billy walk in. "Man am I glad to see you." You said while standing up and giving him a hug. He kissed your cheek before pulling you close and resting his hands on your waist. You and Billy had been going out for a few months now and only Jay knew about it. "Was it Zak or Aaron this time?" You sighed and chuckled. "Zak. But I made it very clear he's not getting out of the friend zone with me. I feel kind of bad but it was getting annoying. Surprisingly, I haven't heard from Aaron yet." You said while pulling back. You heard footsteps before the door opens and Aaron is walking in. "What the hell..." you mumbled. Billy chuckled before going and sitting in one of the chairs. "Hey, (Y/N)! I was wondering if you had a band aid on you?" "No I don't, what happened?" You asked getting a little concerned. "Oh nothing big, I just scraped my knee falling for you." You rolled your eyes and sighed while Billy tried to stifle his giggles but failing horribly. "Oh brother... Aaron, I'm taken. But i do still want to be friends. You're an incredible guy who's been there for me and I don't want this to ruin our friendship." He smiled and shrugged. "Yeah that's cool! I new it wasn't going to happen but it was worth a shot." You smiled and gave him a hug before walking back to your chair. Zak and Jay walked in and went over the game plan for the night before you and Jay were left to man nerve center. "I'm proud of you." You looked and him in confusion. "I know it was... difficulty dealing with those two while trying to keep your relationship with Billy private. But oh handled yourself well, and I'm proud of you." "Thanks, Jay." You smiled and rested your head on his shoulder before returning your attention to the monitor.
