It was date night but your boyfriend, Billy, wouldn't tell you where you were going except that you should wear something comfortable. You groaned as you dug through your closet before deciding on a pair of jeans, a flannel, and a pair of boots. You got dressed and finished with the final touches before walking down the stairs. You saw Billy dressed in a pair of jeans and a dark blue button down. He was pacing the bottom of the stairs with a bouquet of your favorite flowers in his hand. When he heard the stairs creak, he looked up and a smile grew on his face. You reached the last step and he wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you close. "You look absolutely beautiful." He placed a kiss on your forehead and you blushed. "I got these for you." He said as he handed you the flowers. "Oh Billy, they're absolutely gorgeous!" You accepted them and gave him a kiss before walking into the kitchen and filling up a vase to put the flowers in. You took the flowers and placed them on the kitchen table before grabbing your purse and phone. Billy opened the door for you and shut it behind you before locking it up. He helped you in the car and shut the door before running to the other side of the car. He got in and you both started towards, well, wherever Billy had in mind. He reached other and gently held your hand as he drove. "So are you going to tell me where we're going?" He chuckled. "Nope, it's a surprise. But I promise you're gonna love it." He turned up the radio and you heard one of your favorite songs. "I love this song!" "I know, I actually made a CD of all of your favorite songs." You looked at him and saw him blushing a little. "That's so cute!" You squealed and he chuckled. "You like it?" He asked cautiously. "No." He looked at you and you saw him start to frown. "I absolutely love it." He chuckled and breathed a sigh of relief. You giggled a little before staring at the window. A few minutes later, Billy pulled into a parking lot and shut the car off before getting out and jogging to your side of the car to help you out. He held your hand and lead you into a park. You walked in silence for a little before you turned a corner and saw a gazebo lit up on the bank of the pond. You walked closer and saw fairy lights strung up inside and a small table for two set up. You gasped and looked at Billy in amazement. "You did this for me?" "Yes." You smiled and hugged him. "Thank you, babe." He kissed your cheek. "Come on, I've got more planned." He winked before leading you towards the table. He pulled out your chair for you before tucking it under the table and taking his own seat. "Good evening, I will be serving you tonight alongside my partner." You looked over and saw Zak and Aaron standing in what looked like waiter uniforms. You giggled a little. "Hey guys." They waved before Zak rushed off and Aaron came up to fill your glasses with water. "Your first course will be right up." He said before walking away. You giggled and looked at Billy. "Quite the staff." He chuckled and took a sip of water. "They're the best I could find." You laughed at that and took a drink of your water. Zak came back with two plates of calamari. "Your appetizers." He said before placing them down and walking away. You both ate and talked about random things before Zak came back and grabbed the empty plates while Aaron placed new plates in front of you. "You're second course is grilled chicken sautéd in a mushroom sauce with a side of pasta." You smelled and thanked him before digging in. "This is probably the best food I've eaten in a while." "I'm glad." You both took your time eating before Zak came back. "Everything good?" "Oh yeah! Definitely the best I've eaten in a while." He smiled. "Good. I'll bring desert out in a second then." He gave Billy a look before taking the plates and leaving. Billy cleared his throat and took your hand in his. "Are you having a good time?" "Yes! This is the best date I've ever been on." He smiled. "Good, I'm glad you're enjoying it." You both relaxed and listened to the sound of the night when you saw Aaron walking up the stairs, but he was carrying a single plate with what looked like a small box on it. You looked at him in confusion before looking over and seeing Billy on one knee in front of you. You gasped and stared at him. "(Y/N), these past two years have been the greatest two years of my life. You've been there to support me through all of the ups and downs that were thrown our way and I can't imagine going on without you in my life." He reached up and took the box off the plate. "(Y/F/N), will you marry me?" He opened the box and you felt yourself start to cry. The band of the ring was engraved with small vines that led up to a small diamond surrounded my small opals. "Yes! Yes of course!" He slipped the ring on your finger before standing up. You embraced him and heard Zak and Aaron start clapping. You pulled back and kissed Billy. "I'm so happy you said yes." He wiped your eyes and you laughed softly. "How could I not? You're the love of my life, Billy." "I love you, (Y/N)." You kissed him and smiled. "I love you too."
