You wee never the same after being possessed by the demon Zozo. He had left you feeling dark, depressed... empty. Jay had done everything he could to help but right when you seemed to cheer up, you would go right back to your bad mood. He thought you both could use some fresh air so he rented a house out in the woods, packed your bags, and dragged you with him. You stepped onto the porch of the cabin and took in a deep breath, allowing the clean air to fill your lungs. You felt a small smile etch onto your face. "Is that a smile I see?" You turned and saw Jay leaning against the wall. "Maybe." He gave you a smile before walking up to you and pulling you into a tight hug. "I've missed your smile." He whispered into your neck and you felt goosebumps run up your arms. "I've missed smiling." He pulled back and kissed you. "I'm gonna make us dinner tonight. I want you to just relax and enjoy. I'll get you when it's ready." You gave him another smile. "What did I do to deserve you?" He kissed your cheek. "You were yourself." You blushed and watched as he walked into the house. You sat in one of the rocking chairs and admired the calmness that seemed to surround you. The sound of gravel crunching pulled your attention to the path that stretched out past the house. You saw an older woman, who appeared to be of Native American heritage, approaching the house. "Hello." She looked at you and smiled. "Hello, how are you?" You stood up and walked down the steps. "I'm well, thank you. It's a beautiful day for a walk." She hummed in agreement. "I can't help but feel as if the balance has shifted, however." You gave her a questioning look. "Excuse me?" She looked over at you and you felt a chill run down your back at her gaze. "Something dark has entered these lands. You must be careful, for something is coming and there will be nothing you can do to stop it." You slowly started to step back. "Well thank you for the warning. You be careful too." You said before sprinting up the stairs and into the house. "(Y/N), who was that?" "Nobody. Just a friendly neighbor passing by; she wanted to know when we got here and what not." "Well that's nice. Dinner's ready by the way." You walked to the kitchen and sat down. You were restless the whole time, feeling as if something was watching you. You quickly finished and excused yourself before running upstairs. You walked into the bathroom and splashed some water on your face. "Get a grip, (Y/N). Jay has done something incredibly nice for you and you're just being paranoid." You heard a small creak come from the bedroom but dismissed it as nothing. You closed your eyes to try and relax. "I don't think you are." A dark and familiar voice whispered in your ear. Your eyes shot wide open and you turned around to be greeted by nothing. "Oh no." You whispered before running down the stairs. "Jay! Jay!" You ran into the living room and saw a shadow rush across the wall before you felt like your head was exploding. You gripped it and sank to the floor, tears streaming down your face. You heard Jay walk into the room and you collapsed. "(Y/N), are you alright?" He put a hand on your shoulder and you shook it off. You slowly stood up and turned to face him, a sickening grin spread across your face. "I told you I would be back." Jay's eyes went wide in recognition of the statement- it was Zozo. He quickly pulled out his necklace and pointed it at you. "I wouldn't do that if I were you, Jay. You could hurt (Y/N)." You said with a fake pout. You felt like your head was on fire and there was nothing you could do to prevent the words that were coming out of your mouth. "Tsk tsk. I expected more from you, Jay. She feels so sad and lonely. You were supposed to help her. Why can't you help her?" You let out a dark chuckle and cocked your head to the side. "Are you scared of me?" "No." You felt your smile grow. "You should be." You whispered before your head was thrown back. Your body started contorting in painful and inhuman ways. Jay stared on in horror as you rose slightly into the air. "What about now, Jay? (Y/N)'s afraid." You let out a chuckle. "All the thoughts running through her little head." You turned your head back to Jay. "It makes me so... excited." You let out another chuckle before setting back down the ground. Before Jay could say anything, the door opened and the Native American woman entered the house. She was chanting something and waving a large feather throughout the area. You felt the pressure relieve slightly and you felt your hope rise. "How dare you. You insignificant little-" You felt yourself start to choke. Zozo was fighting to stay in but you were forcing him out. After what felt like forever, you gasped and fell to the floor. Jay quickly ran over to you and pulled you into his arms. "(Y/N)? (Y/N), baby please say something to me." You felt tears start to stream down your cheeks as you struggled to sit up. "Jay, it was so dark." You whispered. He pulled you closer and you silently sobbed into his arms. He looked up at the Indian woman who was quietly observing the seen. "Can you please give her a cleansing?" She nodded and walked over to you before chanting and waving incense over you. She stood up and began to walk to the door. "Thank you." You choked out. She looked back at you and smiled before walking out of the house. You and Jay continued to sit on the floor, embracing each other, not knowing what to say. "I'll leave." You looked at him in shock. "W-what?" "I can't see you being hurt like this, (Y/N). It's literally tearing me apart. When we get home I'll tell Zak and the rest of the crew that I can't do it anymore. You mean so much more to me than anything else in the world and I would do anything to keep you safe." You kissed him and he kissed back. "I love you so much, Jay." He kissed your forehead. "I love you so much more, (Y/N)."
