You bounced your knee in anticipation as your boyfriend, Jay, drove the both of you to the location you and the crew were investigating. The reason you and Jay were coming separately was because you're a medium and it gave the guys time to cover up any pictures, symbols, or anything else they think would give away any information about the location's past. As Jay turned the corner, you took in a deep breath. You were overcome with different emotions and you didn't know how to feel. He stopped the car in front of an old house and you saw so many people. Jay gave your hand an encouraging squeeze before you got out of the car. You took a deep breath and started walking towards the house. Zak, Aaron, and Billy were waiting on the front porch. "Hey guys." You said breathlessly, still trying to get your emotions in check. "You ready to go inside?" Zak asked you. You nodded your head and he let you lead the way. This was how it always was: he would let you go first and go wherever you were drawn to and he simply observed. As soon as you stepped in the house, you were hit with a strong sense of fear. You took a deep breath and looked around for the source. You saw a tall dark man standing at the top of the stairs. "There's a man here. I don't think he's entirely man; I think he did some very bad things when he was alive that has twisted his soul into something demon-like. He's the reason a lot of people fell like they've gotten touched or feel uneasy in the house. Very controlling. I keep getting the name Bill." Zak shifted and crossed his arms. "There was a man named Bill Jameson and back in 1896 he was wanted for murdering a family in their home." You stared him down but refused to let him intimidate you. You moved towards the back of the house and felt a more peaceful energy here. You saw a woman sitting in a chair, just watching you. But she didn't give off a scary vibe, she was simply watching. But what concerned you the most were the vivid bruises that encircled her neck. "There's a woman here. She doesn't mean any harm, she simply likes to observe what's going on around her. But I think she was murdered." You whispered. You reached up to your neck and rubbed it a little. "With her, I get something with the neck. I don't know if there was a rope or choking or what." Nick nodded his head in disbelief. "The wife of the guy who built this place hung herself after her son died of pneumonia." You gave her a small smile before moving towards the stairs. The figure wasn't there but you could sense his energy was here. He mainly hung out up on this level. You looked both ways but saw nothing. You walked towards a bedroom and as you crossed through the doorway, you felt as if it was harder to breath. "It's hard to breath." You said softly before sitting down in a chair. Zak watched as you looked around. "Not good, not good. Doesn't like you here." You felt your head twitch to the side as more spirits tried to come forth at the same time. But you froze and your eyes widened as the man stepped forward. "That man doesn't like you, Zak. He runs this place. He's said that you should leave." You looked at Zak and saw him standing unfazed. You reached into your pocket and pulled out a notebook and pen that you always carried. You quickly flipped to an empty page and just started writing. "No, you leave. I'm not afraid of you." You huffed as you wrote. You closed your eyes and rolled your neck a little. "Oh no, you don't belong here. Tsk, tsk." You mumbled and wrote some more. You felt yourself start to get overwhelmed so you broke off the connection and quickly stood up. "I need air." You said before quickly running down the steps. You walked out the front door and stood in the lawn. You took a few deep breaths before opening your notebook. You saw names and symbols scribbled all over the page, but what worried you the most were the three giant number 3s that were scribbled across the middle of the pages. You ran a hand through your hair. You heard footsteps approach and turned to see Jay walking towards you. "Hey, you okay?" You sighed and embraced him. "Something evil lurks in that house. I don't know what it is, but please be careful tonight. I don't want you to get hurt." He hugged you tighter and placed a kiss on the top of your head. "I always am." You pulled back and held his hand. "Jay, I want you to know that I am extremely thankful that you have stood by my side all these years. I know I can get kind of annoying and I probably freak you out sometimes, but you've never left my side and I just wanted to say thank you." He looked at you with a smile on his face. "Where did this come from?" "One of the spirits was saying these nasty things about our relationship and for just a moment I believed it." "Hey, listen to me. Whatever that thing told you, it was all a lie. I would go to the ends of the earth if it meant I could be by your side. You are the most amazing woman I have ever met and nothing you do will change how I feel about you. I love you, (Y/N)." You smiled and kissed him. "I love you too, Jay."
