You stood up from your bed as you threw your arms in the air and stretched. After a few hours of doing absolutely nothing, you knew that you needed to do something productive. Still a little tires, you grabbed your phone off of the nightstand and began to walk out of the room. You reached the kitchen and living room area and walked over to some of the cabinets. Before you grabbed anything, you unlocked your phone and went to your music. You hit shuffle and a song began to play. You checked the time on your phone. It read 2:00. Nate wasn't going to get home for at least another hour, he was out recording a vlog. You smiled as you turned up the volume and grabbed some cleaning supplies out of the cabinet. The song played throughout the room as you moved from place to place cleaning off the countertop and table in the living room. After another minute, the song changed to one of Nate's. It was one of your favorites, Dawn of The Third Day. You quietly murmured the lyrics as you lifted a couch pillow off of the ground. After a few more seconds, you began to sing louder.
"I know she knows she gives me everything. Gives me courage, gives me wisdom, gives me strength. For her I only hope I'll do the same."
You slightly danced around and continued to sing loudly as you continued to clean around the rooms. After a little while longer, you were done with all of your chores.
"Now I won't ever be the same, ever since I learned this princess's name. Now it seems there's just no other way, I'll win her heart by the dawn of the third day."
You sang as you grabbed your phone and scrolled through twitter, taking a short break from all the cleaning.
"When I'm high and dry, she's my song of storms, when I'm-"
"-Cold at night Din's fire keeps me warm."
You jumped as you heard a second voice coming from the room. Quickly, you muted the music and looked up from your phone. Your face turned red as you saw Nate standing in front of you.
"Y-you're home already? I-I was just cleaning..."
"I didn't know you sang. You're really good at it."
He said, smiling. With your face still red, you placed your phone on the counter.
"I-I'm not as good as you though."
You said still blushing. Nate slightly blushed too, and you both sat there in an awkward silence for a few seconds. You slowly backed away, heading for your room. Nate stopped you before you could walk any farther.
"Turn the music back on."
He said, motioning towards your phone on the counter. You grabbed your phone once again and turned up the volume. Nate pulled you closer to him, his arms wrapped around your sides. His eyes looked into yours. By now, both of you were slightly blushing.
"Now I won't ever be the same, ever since I learned this princess's name..."
Nate quietly sang, his dark brown eyes still looking into yours.
"Now it seems there's just n-"
You sang back to him, cut off in the middle of your sentence by his lips touching yours. The kiss stopped a few seconds after and Nate smiled at you, his arms still wrapped around you as he sang another verse.
"I'll win her heart by the dawn of the third day."
