Balloon Challenge (1/2)

"Y/n!"

You heard Nate yell from the other room. You walked down the hallway and into Nate's recording room.

"Yeah Nate?"

You said looking at Nate, who was setting up a camera.

"I need to record a challenge video for the second channel, but Brett's out of town."

You smiled, already knowing what he was going to ask.

"Can you record some challenges with-"

"Of course Nate!"

You said, happily sitting down in the chair next to Nate's. Even though you had no idea what was happening, you were still very excited to do a challenge with Nate. You had always watched Brett and Nate do a bunch of fun challenges, but you had never gotten to be a part of one. Nate pressed a button on the camera and it started to record.

"Hey guys, NateWantsToBattle here, and welcome to the "Balloon Animal" Challenge. I am joined by my awesome friend Y/n!"

Nate said pointing to you. You waved at the camera smiling.

"This challenge was inspired by a challenge that I did with my good friend Matthias a long time ago. Links to the video and Matthias' channel will be down in the description."

Nate continued to talk for about another minute, explaining the rules of the challenge. Finally, Nate was done explaining the game and scrolled through twitter to look for what you had to make first.

"Okay Y/n, you need to make a bird."

You looked down at the already blown up balloons that were sitting by your feet. Quickly, you grabbed a few long blue balloons and tied them together. Nate just sat there and watched, making some comments once and a while. After about a minute, you added some finishing touches. As soon as you finished, you realized how much it didn't look like a bird... or anything at all.

"I tried."

You said, laughing. Nate laughed too.

"What even is that?"

He said, poking one of the balloons sticking out that appeared to be a wing... body.... head?

"I don't know."

You said, laughing even more as you threw the balloon at Nate. It gently bounced off of his shoulder and floated to the ground. Nate chuckled.

"Okay, you're turn to fail."

You said, grabbing Nate's phone out of your hands. You quickly scrolled through twitter, looking for a good suggestion.

"Can't do that one..."

You said, blushing. Quickly, you scrolled through more tweets.

"Or that... Oh.. okay, found one! Make a tree."

You said. Nate grabbed some lime green balloons off of the floor.

"I don't think we have brown balloons... so I'm just going to use pink."

Nate said. You laughed. He tied a few long green balloons to two pink ones that were already tied together.

"Oh boy."

Nate muttered.

"What's wrong?"

You said.

"I'm all out of green. I need to blow some more up."
