"Okay, night two, let's do this."

You said, pushing the big red button in the elevator. You and Nate crawled through the vent into the main room. Once again, the intercom voice told you to check on Ballora, and then Funtime Foxy. Nate placed his hand over the shock button for Ballora and pressed it. No mater how many times you both did it, the sound of an electric shock still caught you off guard. After putting Foxy back on stage, you followed Nate into the next room. You crawled through the vent and the motion detector went off for a few seconds. You hopped down to the main office area  of the room and watched as Nate attempted to turn on the light, even though it didn't do anything. You stood next to Nate and also tried to get the light to work, however, it didn't. The room on the other side of the glass stayed dark, no matter what you did. Nate pressed the shock button, but it didn't make any noise. Instead, it caused the rest of the lights to turn off. Only then you realized how much that dim lighting helped. You began to feel nervous, as you and Nate tried to find a light switch.

"N-Nate?!"

You said, only a little bit of dim lighting left that helped you see. You felt something grab your arm and you hit it with your hand.

"Y/n it's just me."

The sound of Nate's familiar voice sent some relief through your body, but you were still scared.

"N-Nate what's hap-"

Before you could finish what you were saying, you felt Nate wrap his arms around you and pull you under the desk. Confused, you looked up at Nate. Surprisingly, the lighting was a little better under the desk, you could see Nate much better than just standing in the room. However, there was much less room, you both barely had enough room to move. You felt Nate slide farther back under the desk, dragging you with him. Quickly, he grabbed for something to the left of the desk, pulling it across until the opening was covered. It appeared to be a metal slab with holes all over it. It fit perfectly in the front of the desk, keeping you both hidden a little better.

"N-Nate?"

You said, worried. Nate placed a hand over your mouth.

"Shh, stay quiet okay?"

Nate whispered in your ear. You nodded and he pulled his hand away. Seconds after, you heard the motion detector go off for the vent, along with the sound of something rushing through it. You shut your eyes and held onto Nate.

Something was in the room.

The sound of faint whispering went through the room, both you and Nate began to tremble. You heard the makeshift door get hit with something repeatedly, followed by a disturbing scratching sound as the metal door began to slide open. Nate reached over you and tried to pull it back closed, and you helped. It took all of your strength to take back control, whatever on the other side of the door didn't seem to want to give up. Finally, it stopped and the door slid closed all the way. You sat back, relieved. However, Nate didn't let his guard down. You could see him trembling in the dim light as he held onto the door. You looked through one of the holes in the metal door. All you could see was the room, nothing inside. Suddenly, an eye appeared in the hole, making you jump. The eye continued to stare into where you were hiding for a few more seconds, then lowering back so you couldn't see it anymore.

"I-It saw m-me."

You whispered to Nate. He didn't reply, just watch the door, leaning in front of you. The banging noise came back, and once again the door struggled to open. You helped Nate and soon won the battle. It shut and you heard footsteps through the vents once again.

"It's gone."

Nate whispered, then wrapping his arms around you. You hugged him back and only then realized how much you were shaking. Nate let go of the hug, his dark brown eyes looking in yours as they shined in the dim lighting. You could see a pure look of guilt and fear in his expression.

"Y/n, I'm so sorry that we have to do this. I shouldn't have dragged you here with me."

Nate said. You saw a tear go down his face.

"It's fine Nate, we're going to be home soon. It's just a little bit longer."

You replied, still trembling.

"Just a little bit longer."

You repeated to yourself, trying to believe your own words. You slid the small door open and looked around, making sure that the coast was clear. Both you and Nate crawled out and stood up, stretching.

"There's one more thing that we have to do, and then we go home."

You said, trying to lighten the mood. Nate tried to reassure you with a smile.

"Yeah."

He replied, already crawling through the vent. You could tell how badly he wanted to go home. You followed Nate and you were soon in the main room. The vent to Ballora's gallery opened, and you took a deep breath, already hearing the faint sound of her music gliding throughout the room.
