You sighed as the elevator made its decent. You didn't want to come back, but you had to. Nate gave you a concerned look, then inching closer to you. He wrapped one arm around your shoulders and pulled you closer.
"This is the last night Y/n...It's going to be okay."
He said quietly, trying to make you feel better. You got as close to him as you could without making things awkward. The elevator door finally opened and you both stepped out. After crawling through the vent you returned to the familiar office space.
"There's two other mechanics in here apparently...that's good."
Nate said to you, getting ready to push a light button for Ballora's gallery. You nodded.
"Good... actual people."
You replied, walking over to Funtime Foxy's control booth. Lazily, you pressed the light button, then looking up and through the glass. A dark figure was on the stage, you squinted as you tried to figure out what it was. Before you could get a good look, you heard Nate let out a small scream.
"Y-Y/-n... I f-found one of the guys..."
You turned to face the window leading into Ballora's gallery. The sight was almost identical to the one that you had found.
"I think I found the other one Nate..."
You replied, making Nate look over at what you had found. Nate walked over to you and slightly pulled you away from the window and closer to him.
"Oh boy..."
He said. You looked into the dark room even though the lights had turned off. It was still there, you knew that. You just couldn't look away.
"I hope that won't be us."
You said with a laugh, which turned into an awkward chuckle when you began to believe what you had said. Nate just looked over at the Funtime Auditorium vent which had opened. He crawled inside and you followed, trying not to think about the dead person on the other side. You both swiftly made your way to the door on the opposite end. Surprisingly, Funtime Foxy was no where to be found, and the flashlight stayed clipped to Nate's side the whole time. You pulled open the metal door leading to a small room with a conveyer belt. An unsettling feeling still lingered over you, even in the small contained room. Nate closed the door and held the flashlight in front of him. You looked up at the conveyer belt. An empty looking Baby animatronic was hunched over on it.
"Okay, so we just have to press that button over there,"
Nate began to say, pointing over to a square green button near one of Baby's hands.
"Then we're done."
He finished saying, relief in his voice. You couldn't help but also feel relieved yourself. It was almost over. Carefully, you reached out to the button in front of you. Just before you pressed it, a voice stopped you. You backed away, bumping into Nate. The voice sounded calm, like it was more of a help than a threat. It spoke for a little while, you didn't try to stop it. You both just stood there and listened. Finally, Nate stepped forward.
"I need you to save what is good, so the rest can be destroyed and never recovered..."
Nate turned his head to face you. He looked at you waiting for approval. You nodded your head. It was probably best to do whatever the voice wanted. Nate stood in front of the Baby animatronic, ready for whatever he had to do. The soft voice continued to talk over the intercom.
It talked about a code, Nate was already in front of the keypad.
"7...7...5...4...2...7...9...7...5...3"
