CHAPTER 18

"For you Pam" said Raven as he give the bouquet to Pam.

I grinned and folded my arms acrossed my chest as I watched her reaction. Umiling siya saka umalis at nilagpasan si Raven.

"Why don't you get it? It's cute, don't you like cute things Pam?" I had to asked. She must accept it. She has to.

"Hindi siya cute" sagot niya.

"Hindi cute? Pandas are cute, baka iba ang definition ng cute sayo? O, nakalimutan ko, maton ka nga pala" I teased then chuckled. In this way, I know for sure she'll be pissed off.

She turned back to Raven and quickly grabbed the bouquet to Raven's hand "Thanks!" she exclaimed then walked out.

I let out a loud laugh of satisfaction as I watched her walking away with a bouquet of mini pandas in her hand.

"Pamela!" Ian called and followed her.

I shook my head and smirked. Lumapit sakin si Raven at inakbayan ako.

"Mukhang may karibal ka a?" sabi nito.

I shoved his hand away at nagsimula na kong maglakad papunta sa classroom. I immediately scanned the room and released a sigh of relief when there's no trace of Ashley. Buti na lang hindi ko siya kaklase sa lahat ng subjects.

"I didn't see your car" sabi ni Raven.

I shook my head. "Iniwan ko sa bahay nila Pam, kaya nga sayo ko pinadala yung lunch niya"

"Hanggang kailan mo to gagawin?" he asked.

I grinned. "I don't know"

"You're whipped bro!"

I didn't answer and just continued walking until we reached the canteen. I sighed.

"You do everything just to be with her. You never liked this kind of place, it must be something" sabi ni Raven habang nakangisi sakin.

I ignored him and entered the canteen. Nag order muna kami bago naupo sa may bandang gitna and reserved two seats for Yanna and Pamela. After just a few minutes ago, the place became crowded and good thing we were dismissed before twelve noon. We started eating when five minutes ago, there's still no trace of Yanna and Pam inside the canteen.

I looked around and saw Pamela and Ian at the exit.

"Si Pam yun di ba? Where's Yanna?" tanong ni Raven. "Aalis siya? Pam!" he shouted.

She stopped pero umiling lang kay sinabi ko kay Raven na tawagin siya sa buong pangalan.

"Pamela Reyes!" he shouted again.

This time, she finally looked back. Ian said something to her but she ignored him. Good girl. I smirked.

"Kanina ka pa namin hinihintay" sabi ni Raven tinuro yung tupperware na nasa mesa "Lunch mo"

She looked hesitant pero naupo din naman nung nakitang mahaba yung pila sa counter.

"Bakit ngayon ka lang?" I asked.

"Bakit ka nandito?" nagulat siya pero sinamaan agad ako ng tingin.

I removed my glasses then leaned on the table.

"Canteen to, pwede akong pumunta dito anytime Pam"

Then she ignored me. Tss.

Pinanood ko siyang buksan yung tupperware at haluin yung kanin na pinaghirapan kong magmukhang panda. Just like what she did yesterday, she's really harsh towards cute pandas! Tss.

"Grabe ka Pam! Wala kang puso! Hindi mo man lang pinicturan yung panda!" I said.

She ignored me again and started eating. Napailing na lang ako. At least, hindi niya tinanggihan yung pagkain.

"Mauna na ko Pam, enjoy your meal. Bro" Raven grinned knowingly at me then stood up.

"What?" I chuckled when I saw Pam's glaring at me.

"Magkakilala kayo?" tanong niya.

"We're blockmates" I shrugged.

I didn't lie. I just didn't say we're also best friends. Soon im gonna tell everything. This isn't just the right time.

She didn't say anything after that.

"Ang swerte mo, pagpunta mo dito may lunch ka na, hindi na kailangan pumila, samantalang yung suitor mo nakapila pa rin hanggang ngayon" tinuro ko si Ian na nakalimutan na yata niya na kasama niya.

Bigla siyang napatingin sa tinuro ko saka umiling.

"Do you like him?" I asked.

She stared at me amd arched her eyebrows. "Hindi" she answered then continued eating.

I smiled at her answer. She didn't even think twice, so that just mean she really doesn't like him.

"Talaga? Baka pakipot ka lang? Pwede ka naman magshare sakin, mapagkakatiwalaan naman ako promise!" I teased.

And again, she ignored me until she finished eating then stood up. So, I followed her.

"Wag mo kong sundan" she said without looking at me.

I grinned. "Bakit naman kita susundan? Feeler ka din pala Kikay!" I laughed.

Can't help it. I love teasing you Pamela.

"E, bakit nandyan ka pa sa likod ko?" naiinis na tanong niya saka mas binilisan pa yung lakad which made me chuckled.

"Isa lang naman ang daan, porket nasa likod mo ko iniisip mo nang sinusundan kita a. O baka naman gusto mo talagang sundan kita?" I smirked. I wanted to walk passed her and look at her flushed face.

"Asa ka pa. Sino ang feeler satin? Kinginang yan" she cussed at mas bumilis pa yung lakad niya.

Hindi ko na napigilan kaya natawa na lang ako. I stopped following her and watched her until she's out of my sight.

"Sasabay ka ba sakin?" tanong ni Raven pagkalabas namin ng classroom.

I shook my head and showed him Pam's car key.

"Saan pa tayo pupunta?"

"Sa classroom nila Pam"

Tahimik lang kaming naglakad. I shook my head and raised my eyebrows when I spotted Ian standing in front of their classroom already.

"May nauna na" Raven commented.

I just shrugged. Tumigil ako malapit sa kanya. His brows furrowed as he stared at me.

"Yow" I grinned.

He just nodded at me.

"Excuse me, sinong hinihintay niyo?" tanong ng isang babae na isa isa pa kaming tiningnan.

"Pamela Reyes" sagot ni Raven. "Can you call her?"

Sumimangot yung babae at tumalikod agad. I followed her and I saw her walked inside the classroom and poked Pamela then pointed us.

She took her time as if no one's waiting for her. Sinamaan niya kami ng tingin pagkalabas niya saka tuluy tuloy na naglakad paalis. Napailing na lang ako at sabay sabay kaming sumunod sa kanya hanggang sa parking lot.

I opened her car and quickly hopped inside but before I could close the car door, someone called my name.

"Trystan?" my jaw clenched and my smirk quickly vanished.
